Remember our 90 year old buddy Carl? We spent the day with him at the Legion while he and hubby start to remodel the bathrooms. He was on his hands and knees doing floor work. What a guy! Love him. He insists on doing the work and donating the supplies.

I remember that Ted Cruz put forth a bill to take El Chapo’s assets to build the WALL.

I wonder what happened to that.

We got about 6” of heavy, wet snow, here in southern New Hampshire, overnight. When the snow let loose on our metal roof, it sounded like a freight train, sans whistle!

Today will be spent digging out. This is the kind of snow that kills old men, shoveling.

You need a snow blower!

After a friend of ours had a heart attack shoveling snow a couple of years back, I gave my hubby one for Christmas.

It’s still lots of work but snow blower sure helps.

And my harping on do a little, come in and rest, do a little more, rest, finally sunk in.

I do the snow in layers. Takes longer, but not as strenuous.

In my younger days, I was the John Henry of snow shoveling.

Those days are long gone.
