AND, I'm sure tired of this sort of snotty remark they make at work: “... until the emergency cuz all the immigrants crossing the border are criminals ...”
Which reminds me, I was trying to find a Biblical connection to the roman number MI ... 1001 ... and the search engine presented me with John 10:01 :

Declaring a national emergency would be a lawless act, a gross abuse of the power of the presidency There are 28 declared Emergencies still active.
IMHO most of them represent a misuse or abuse of the law. as they have absolutely nothing to do with directly protecting Americans or America from harm due to an emergency situation.
For president Trump to apply the act to protect America and American citizens from a slow motion invasion of law breaking illegals would be one of the few times the law was actually used to directly protect the nation and citizens from harm.
He would be using the law as intended - not as it has been used in the past to address situations in other nations and further globalization in nations halfway around the world.
