Did anyone else notice the Question mark at the end on the stadium banner showing the words to the national anthem?
AND THE LAND OF THE BRAVE? is what appeared behind Gladys Knight while she was singing.
It was like a not so subtle dig at the national anthem.
Lokked for a picture, but it should be on the video.
Actually, I missed the whole thing. When it comes to the NFL, I've been "taking a knee" for a long time now.
Seriously? The actual lyrics contain question marks.
why dont you just have this thread pulled before you embarrass yourself.
I did notice that the three black guests of honor present during the coin flip had the nastiest scowls on their faces.
The last sentence asks a question, hence the question mark....
Oh, say does that...
.?
FUNFL...I watched the Puppy Bowl.
Actual lyrics for the national Anthem include the question mark:

Complete version of “The Star-Spangled Banner” showing spelling and punctuation
from Francis Scott Key’s manuscript in the
Maryland Historical Society collection.
O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright
stars through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bomb bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that
our flag was still there,
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
I watched the India-New Zealand ODI Cricket match.
Yeah; it’s correct, too. The first stanza ends with a question:
Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro’ the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
My view of the anthem is that Gladys Knight is a class act, beautiful rendition of the anthem, and a beautiful lady inside and out . . . and a patriot to boot. God bless her.
But what do I know?? I am just an old, toxic white guy racist.
BTW, Neither One of Us (Wants to be the First to Say Goodbye)happens to be one of my all time favorite songs!!
LOL, would have been funny if the Pips had shown up.
Its a valid punctuation mark at the end of a sentence that poses a question.
Oh say can you see?.......................
As well it should. It is the duty of ALL Americans to keep asking themselves whether they personally have done their part to improve on the freedom of American citizens, not just coast on the work of others. Does that flag still wave? It does in my heart and in front of my home.
Been boycotting the NFL for three years! Yesterday was no exception!
BOYCOTT THE NFL!!!
Who is this “Jose” guy, and why should I care if he can see or not?
Jose, can you see?....................
How does the late great Queen of Soul aka Aretha Franklin
relate to this article? For obvious reasons, she did not perform yesterday at the Super Bowl.
Maybe she was somewhere else, driving her Pink Cadillac.
