Seriously,
The RATS use the DC federal court because it assures you get an OJ jury. This needs to be abolished - you dont get a jury of your peers.
Who would Stone ask that of?
Id think twice before making that request. They dissolved a guy on Breaking Bad and its not very pleasant. What is it that youre suggesting?
He lives in New York & Florida and whatever crimes he is supposed to have committed would have to originate there, so why would a jury be in DC?
Demographics of the jury pool is 90% Democrat.
Can you point to me where the phrase “jury of your peers” appears in the United States Constitution?
(Spoiler alert, it isn’t in there.)
Bonus points if you can point to the actual phrase that is found in the Constitution.
“Absolved”?
6th amendment. “...impartial jury...”
Don’t use the bathtub.
I see these kinds of suggestions daily from writers with heavy readership. Many of them are messages to Trump, sometimes to others.
I’ve yet to see one acted upon.
You are a winner!
The phrase “Jury of your peers” is not in the United States Constitution.
That phrase is actually in the Magna Carta. You don’t have a Constitutional right to a “Jury of your peers” you have a right to “an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed.”
Good answer to a question I didn’t ask. Thanks
bttt
Only the Congress can do that....................
99.999999% Democrats.....................
I guess because the alleged crimes took place in DC, at least the one about the lying to congress.
Hello? Any one home? Are you going to participate in your vanity or was this strictly for our enjoyment?
I only know the RATs seem to have the system down. They will cry foul why someone breaks the law, but then ignore lawlessness when it works in their favor.
They will cry racism when demographic numbers work against them, but use packed jury pools against Republicans when it works in their favor.
Just throwing out thoughts, lunch break is over ...
Gotcha.
Great point - I wonder if refusing to testify within the boundaries of the DC Court would change things.
