I really like the movie Outland.
Connery does a good job kicking people’s nasty asses all over the mine.
That’s a marshal joke.

I was expecting to see “Forbidden Planet” and maybe “Them”. I did NOT care for “The Incredible Shrinking Man” and “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” could have been better.

Well, the only one I’ve seen is Altered States. I pretty much liked it but the ending was so cloyingly sentimental that it was akin to being force fed sugar coated molasses.

I liked
Outlander (2008) (not the silly HBO time-travel soap opera of the same name)

Strange Days.. good, but twisted. I didn’t get Zardoz at all.

"Zarthura" was basically the original "Jumanji", except set in a science-fiction setting. Not too bad ... but not quite as funny as the original "Jumanji" was.
I thought the overweight Rhino was simply hysterical ...

Was
Pi science fiction?
It seemed like it went far beyond SF.

Hardware is the best film on that list. Zardoz and Altered States were both pretty good, along with Strange Days.
The Illustrated Man with Rod Steiger is a good one, not listed.

It should be noted that the rape scenes in Strange Days can be rough for some people to watch. The same topic is somewhat addressed in Johnny Mnemonic, albeit Strange Days is the better movie overall.
I thought Altered States was a pretty bad movie that was just trying to make psychedelic drugs seem cool.
Robot Jox was a pretty bad robot gladiator movie, and there are any number of Japanese films which are much better even though they had a lower budget and you have to read subtitles.
I don't go to movies anymore and have no television so I haven't seen the rest. I do buy DVD videos and have a tiny portable player though.
