It will come as no surprise that the White House is in chaos, but what is shocking is that this fact is being confirmed by President Donald Trumps outgoing Chief of Staff John Kelly.
In an exit interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kelly admits that the White House is not quite the well-oiled machine that Trump loves to brag about. Two specific instances he cited as chaotic were the implementation of the travel ban and the zero-tolerance family separation policy at the Mexican border.

So, when every person leaves a place of employment says the same thing, over and over, do they ALL have an axe to grind?
At what point do people start listening and start trying to stabilize the environment?
I appreciate Trump is a disrupter. But disrupters are hell on establishment structures.
I think Trump needs to stop kissing up to Generals and start bringing in business people.
One man’s chaos is another man’s well oiled machine.
Chaos good or chaos bad? In regards to one’s perspective, of course, but there is all sorts of entropy going on at any given moment in any organizational chart. Some parts are building up in both size and strength, while others are atrophying and collapsing, a necessary adjunct to changing demands of the moment.
John Kelly happened to be at the one juncture where there may have been some withering, more noticeable to himself than perhaps to others. The strategy of chess is not necessarily well known to the pawns.
So? Proves my point
Arent we lucky to have St. Kelly protecting us?
I believe you and I may agree. My suspicion is that the rigid Mr Jelly thinks anything not by the book is chaos.
Chaos: When the Master of the house insists that the staff do the damn job they are getting paid to do....
Agreed. Like a pack of hyenas
I doubt it; real chaos was when the Clintons took over as related in “Unlimited Access,” by Gary Aldrich. Even though Presidents have been stupid in many ways since then, they all at least ran professional White Houses. Nobody has topped the wacky Clintons.
Sometimes yes. If it is the same type of person.
Do you actually think Trump is stupid and not capable for the presidency. Thats what these tons are saying. Not a one of them was onboard with Trump Agenda
Note Zinke, Price, and Sessipns have not said a word about chaos in the WH
He has brought in business people. Not all were on board , eg Tillerson
Not just for the old Obama ideology, but for all politicians, including the perfumed princes of the military.
Nothing is to get done except at a glacial pace to create the sense of complexity and to cement sinecures for as many politicians and Generals as possible.
If things were done quickly then the citizens would understand that a vast majority of what we have "running" our country is nothing but overhead and could be eliminated.
It isnt chaos if somebody is in control..
Bingo. Further, when everyone opposes your vision chaos is the best and perhaps only way to beat 'em. To cede to the traditional order is to fail.
Wait. Wasn’t he chief of staff? If it’s chaos, that would mean he has been doing a lousy job. That’s like a captain complaining about his ship not passing inspection.
Yeah really. Even if true - and what is the definition of chaos? - what difference does it make?
“Trumps biggest flaw is his complete inability to hire and fire the right people.”
And during the campaign he was misrepresented — or we chose to believe — as someone who had the uncanny and almost magical sixth sense to size up people at first glance. I can understand the first round of scumbags like Ryan’s BFF since grade school Priebus, Sessions, etc. This was PDJT’s forst “rodeo” in DC and he trusted Deep State advice.
After a year, though, there should’ve been a correction. Some are wonderful, but so many are horrid. And it’s possible there are ZERO honorable people in DC from whom to choose. Kelly was a bust. I had a hinky feeling about Kavanaugh LONG before the hearings started, and he has not supported PDJT or the Constitution well. Trump worshipped him — his “high intellect”. There’s more to being SCOTUS than intellect.
You’re right; random people off the street might be more loyal.
Like I trust Rolling Stone ragazine to give me an objective take.

’zero-tolerance’ family separation”
Oh, the one that was used all the time under Obama, but nodody cared? THAT family seperation?
Yeah, when I read Kellys actual quotes the LA Times interview, it didnt seem that bad. This Rolling Stone article and other MSM writeups about this are simply more Pravda-like propaganda.
Possible that Kelly may have had an old boomers view that such an interview with the MSM would help him set the record straight.
