I still laugh at some of the scenes! I'll always remember the shoe horn incident!😁

I like most of the movies subtitled on this thread.

I went to the theatre late on Monday morning to see The Gods Must Be Crazy. It was sold our for weeks in Sacramento on two screens back in the day.

I chuckles a few times and thought, well that was just OK.

My lady friend du jour wanted to se it and there were post viewing benefits to my advantage. So went with her again. Nice blouse, oh my.

The place was packed and we roared thru out the movie. I was soar from laughing.

My point? Different setting, different audience, packed house. laughter can be contagious. So all this subjective. Is Blazing better than Young Frank? Depends on what you want. My wife grew dup in Philippines, different frame of reference and cultural references. But she loves slap antilock. Loves things like America’s Best Home Vids, people falling and running into things. I like stand up. She doesn’t. We rarely like the same movies.

Animal House is and will always be a classic for several reasons. And “even” women enjoy this insight to what pigs and attention whores young men can be for female attention and bragging rights. No movie captured it better. Got invited to toga for just bringing the movie up one time. Good weekend.

Where is "Holy Grail"?

"Airplane" is there of course, but where is "Blazing Saddles"?

Never seen most of the rest of them.

Think that is the movie where they steal the neighbors Thunderbird, go get gas in a filthy trash bucket, etc.

Was laughing with tears streaming as they tried to pour the gas in.

Some of those I haven’t seen but the ones I have, I agree with you.

I saw one recently which I thought was funny as all get out. It was titled “Kick Ass”. That little girl killing those thugs was funny to watch.

The only thing I objected to was having her use profanity. Mainly because I don’t think 12 years old actresses should be saying those things.

Lost Skeleton of Cadavra was hilarious.

“Mainly because I don’t think 12 years old actresses should be saying those things.”

Then don’t ever watch, ‘Leon: The Professional’ which was Natalie Portman’s debut movie around that age. She was training as an assassin!

It’s actually quite a good movie. Kind of gory in parts, but you can see it coming and close your eyes. I did! ;)

Yellowbeard is the best story by the Month Python folks, IMHO.

It insults everyone and everything. And it's a pirate movie!

I tell people it's my favorite movie of all time and I always get the same thing. “Never heard of it.”

Yep. You either get it, or you don’t. Beau thinks it’s dumb; I find it utterly charming! CHARMING, I say! :)
