He hasn’t caught any flack over his transphobic “Only Women Bleed”? It’s been 40 years, but hate is hard, right?

It’s hard to tell what he’s even talking about.
It sounds like he buys in to and contributes to any cause Sting, Bono or Springsteen peddle.

My mother lives with me. Shes a tiger. Shes 95 and is my biggest fan. If you say anything bad about Alice Cooper, shell be on top of you. I was lucky to get the parents I did.

How can he avoid politics at his shows and still play his biggest hits?

I’m just responding to what he’s reported to gave said:
“I dont look at Bono, Sting and Bruce Springsteen as political. I look at them as being humanitarian.”
I look at them as political. I assume you do too.
“Ill contribute to anything humanitarian.”
What does this mean other than he contributes to their liberal causes?

Well, how they look at themselves may be a different story. And people such as Lenin, Stalin and Mao might have seen
themselves as humanitarian by contrast.
I sometimes think of the big Live Aid hoopla and wonder what the African Marxist big-man dictators did with all that money all those decades ago.
As for Vince himself, he has had an interesting career, what with his first two albums being very much like Zappas early work.

Alice Cooper used to have a restaurant in downtown Phoenix. We went once and really enjoyed it. They had those 18 inch long hot dogs and my daughter and her friend were young enough that it was a novelty to them. We enjoyed the food.
Some years ago, I think we saw Alice Cooper at a local Irish Pub. At least the person looked exactly like Alice Cooper. Including a top hat and makeup. I didn't make it over to say "Hello" as I was doing my best to keep up with the bartenders amazing drinks. Didn't want to fall on the man, I enjoy his work too much. :)
Alice Cooper is a local treasure.

Opium for the masses.
The dehumanizing of Donald Trump and the people who work and support his administration is one of the most heinous political acts in the history of our nation, and this lug nut, Alice Cooper wants us to do to sleep?
The same branding techniques, the same process of
dehumanization was used by the Dems to solidify their Jim Crow laws in the old South and we are supposed to “let it happen?”
No.
We will fight, even if it means blood in the streets.
We will NOT stand down.

Took me a half hour to remember the name of the venue I seen Alice Cooper at, it was Harpo’s night club 10 minutes from downtown Detroit in approx 1980.
I remember that night the featured band was supposed to be Toby Red but lo and behold when the show began out comes Alice and let me tell you he put on one hell of a show.
Another time they slipped another act in it was Meatloaf, back in those days a lot of the top bands played at the local clubs when they were in town for big shows, still irked that I missed the Rolling Stones at such a venue.

Yeah, right Alice...
Then why’d you write “Elected”..uh, uh?
Or PDJT’s theme song...”No More Mr Nice Guy”?

Vincent F (Alice) is the most under-rated song writer of all time.
A brilliant musician, and a stand-up man by all reports.

Yeah, it would take someone of that generation to believe that people should think for themselves and that entertainers should not preach politics to their fans. Today's American youth increasingly appear to be the heirs of Mao's Red Guards in the Cultural Revolution - mindless leftist zombies who punish non-conformity instead of celebrating it.

Springsteen campaigned for Hillary. Bono campaigned to legalize abortion in Ireland. So, both are guilty of what Cooper condemns.

I can respect Alice Cooper for that stance. I like his music too.
Madonna, Lady GaGa, Bruce Springstein, Bono, Sting, and so on,,, not so much.

Bono is humanitarian. Sting and Springsteen are as political as Nikita Kruschev.
And Alice was known as “Vinnie the Boss” long before anyone ever heard of Springsteen and his three-chord band.

"But when musicians are telling people who to vote for, I think thats an abuse of power. Youre telling your fans not to think for themselves, just to think like you. Rocknroll is about freedom and thats not freedom."Exactly! Coop gets it and is one of the good guys.
