Two strangers married on Christmas Day after meeting for the first time at an airport in their wedding attire before boarding a plane to Las Vegas. Sarah [Elliott], 34, matched with Paul Edwards, 36, on online and within days decided to get hitched. They matched on Dec. 15 and exchanged messages and spoke to each other for the first time on Dec. 22.They committed to each other and booked a wedding venue - the Bellagio. After meeting for the first time at Gatwick Airport on Christmas Eve, the duo boarded a plane in full wedding attire and jetted off to Las Vegas to get married. We instantly clicked - there was an undeniable connection," Sarah Edwards, a nanny who is originally from New Zealand but now lives in Tunbridge, Wells, Kent, said. "I feel like Paul's my best friend already. We're not looking at everything through rose-tinted glasses. We know it will be challenging, but we're willing to work together. I'm usually such a logical person, but all the rules have been thrown out."

ROTFL!!! Man, THAT would be a SURPRISE!
Its me so horny.
Neither did mine. Good luck to you.
I've known people who've built long-lasting marriages on whirlwind romances that lasted a week. Meanwhile, my ex and I were together for years before we married.
I've long wondered whether I let a soulmate slip away 31 years ago, someone I met while traveling. Last I saw him, he was boarding a plane. He lived far away, and he seemed to be the "bad boy" type. So I took the safer route with a "nice guy" close to home. It turns out, "nice guys" aren't always nice, and sometimes the "bad boys" are the good guys. But, I didn't know that at 23.
Hard worker, always self employed and the best damn fisherman I ever knew.
About 12 years ago when he was maybe 56, he met a Filipino lady via an internet dating site and eventually married her. Turns out they were a match made in heaven. She was the daugher of a professional fisherman, highly educated and worked for a high government official.
She helps with his power coating business and on off days they fish, either on soft water or ice fishing. Then when they vacation to Florida, they fish ponds for pan fish..........LOL!
I met my wife at a party on May 23. We were married in June 25. And that was 38 years, 3 kids, and 4 grandchildren ago. We are still waiting to see if it will last, because it’s not been 38 years.
No significant debt; we are George and Mary Bailey rich...
I know a good number of families from India. Some literally met at the altar. As far as I know, happily married. I dont know how, but it works
Funny thing is, this is truly why it’s considered “proper” to wait until marriage.
When you get what you want from people with no commitment, you are really telling them that they are optional. I’ve been made optional by many women too.
When there is a concrete commitment, things move forward “correctly”. Something that people don’t even understand until it happens.
He looks a tad gay....
My father and mother met, mom being a divorcee with 2 young kids living with her parents, and they married in the 5th month.
52 years.
No, he looks a tad...uh...retarded/defective.
Alot like Andre the Giant.
The boys got something
With the Gene Pool.
welp imho, the way divorces hit with the same surprise as Cup[ids Arrow these days, what the hell do they have to lose?? ...and it may even be something as pure as wanting to be married before they hit it!! lol
Good luck to you as well. You can wonder about that one that got away, but just by default, it wasnt meant to be. I am glad that some of my early boyfriends didnt work out because I didnt always know quite what I was looking for or who would be a good match, but I do joke, with enough truth to it, really, that to be dumped by me is one of the best ways to become a millionaire ever.
Friends said we were out of our minds.
First marriage for both of us.
Last marriage for both of us.
I thank God every night that He sent him to me.
Sometimes you just know it is right.
