My brother is in town a few days to see his daughter, grands and 2 great grands. I am sort of an afterthought but did have lunch with him yesterday. Maybe pix later here if I have wifi and get to it.

I know what you mean. I wish we had a page of easily located links of references. My daughter brought home a boyfriend who thinks he knows everything but is wrong about most. He believes NPR and mainstream is nonpartisan, Jane Fonda was unfairly accused, and Democrats believe in protecting the second amendment for instance. Not to mention other items more detailed. I don’t have the phone skills to pull up counter proof on my phone in a heartbeat. Like this this Google bot person does.

While we do have something like that for ourselves at the top of FR, I mean something more detailed. I just have to get better at looking stuff up on my phone on the fly here. But much can one really prove t poo someone who believes NPR and the NYT and DemonRats supporting the 2a. My daughter thinks she can help educate him on things. But she isn’t all that informed or even interested in most of it.

a couple shots from my lunch outing yesterday. I have been spending a lot of time sleeping and with heating pad. Did get to urgent care last week for meds after the pneumonia diagnosis. Have taken Lucy out daily & fed my ferals and now and then a meal out but mostly just hanging low.

My brother, SIL and I met with my cousins and his dad our 95 year old uncle for lunch at Danny Boys an Italian Frank Sinatra themed restaurant in area

Uncle George is The last living of 14 parental siblings. He was my dads best friend. My dad died in 1990

Interesting the server who Have known for many years asked me after they left how much older my brother and wife are than me.... chuckle. I am 7.5 years older than brother and 13 years older than SIL. I don't think I look that young but I acknowledge the SIL just doesn't do anything to enhance. Dowdy clothes carried on probably 40 extra pounds on her 5'2" frame.. no makeup. very unflattering hairstyle. She has a great smile and is not unattractive just could do a little more... but that is her way and my brother although when they were first married hoped she would do makeup and hair but she was pretty firm. Just doesn't want the bother. Im too vain I guess.
