Military Funeral. All moves are written down, known, practiced and executed with precision. Trump graduated from Military school where such things became second nature to the cadets.
It’s a tip of his CinC hat to the military without being overly exuberant, befitting the atmosphere.
I agree that the tailor being flown in - and thanks for details, I didn’t realize the dude was flown in from a foreign country - is very weird.
GHWB was ancient, they must have known he was close to death (if the regular story line is correct), and why on God’s green earth would he need a new suit? Guys’ rich, has tons of suits, never goes any where. So right before dying, he has to spend countless thousands on a new suit. And a photo of the fitting, even. And made it into news. Every time one of the Bushes gets fitted for a new suit there’s a photo taken of it, and it goes into the news?
Come on.... there was something else going on, some meaning to this, message, or something.

The tailor has probably been making his suits for years and is USSS cleared. This is not unusual for the wealthy. They have a different life than we do.

The photos of the fitting are definitely another factor. They were putting on a big show by putting those photos of the fitting out to the public. There was a reason for it. We’ve never seen W measured for a suit before. So why now?
What it looks like to me is that they are saying “Hey, everybody, look! This guy really is a tailor and I really am getting a new suit! Nothing suspicious about having him fly in and back out again on a private jet! Don’t look at that! Just look at me getting a new suit! Like I’ve done dozens of times before, only without calling attention to it and making it into a big public spectacle.”
I listened to Hannity’s radio show yesterday. My take on the content was Sean was way more than respectful...it was almost over-the-top gushing abound how great a man GHWB was. “The world is a much better and richer place having had George Bush in it”, per Sean yesterday.
OK...I know Sean is not going to burn on Bush in these circumstances, but if Sean knows what we know, I don’t know how he could be THAT enthusiastic. I could not pull off the act.
... and one more thing....
Is W wearing the new suit at the funeral? I don’t think he was wearing it in those pics when he got off the plane.
Of course the wealthy have their suits tailor made. But two things are weird:
1. A week or so before GHWB’s natural death? Old people fail slowly and a week before natural death normally are not fitted for a new suit. Especially when they are wealthy and have numerous practically brand new suits.
2. And has such a fitting and new suit for him EVER been in the news before? I think not!

Exactly. And it was Bush Sr. so why would he be fitted (making it into the news for the Very First Time, photo and all!) and then Bush Jr would be wearing it, not sensible.
IMHO this was definitely a message of some kind.

Could find no photo. Hmm.
