Sounds like a good plan and here’s hoping your dream comes true.

My DIL did something like this in Apollo Bay, AU.

Only the government! Maybe I’ll look around for the recipe, see how it compares with what I am doing for the spices. But the reason I chose spices is that whole spices will last decades, about as long as the beans and wheat berries people store. Stuff in a brownie mix? Not so much.

We have to rake them up because of the problem they would represent if we had a fire.

May mean the difference between your home burning or not.

Believe me we would love to leave for a bed against mud but....

Ogden right we had a 30-foot fire clearance at the cabin also.

If Indian food was all vegetarian I wouldn’t eat it so much. Lamb is my favorite food, so I usually eat the land dishes. When I bake a lamb shank at home, I bake it with curry sauce. but I have to wash the bone off before I give it to my granddog, as he doesn’t like curry that much. :-)

What a wonderful idea! And the specialty nights sound like so much fun!
I used to think it would be fun to open a small restaurant. It would have cloth tablecloths, and no printed menus, just a chalkboard with 4 or 5 dishes being served that day.
Your plan sounds very doable. Would you cook in their home or cater it?

Lol, grandog, cute!

I had to wash the Velveeta off the pork for my dog last night. It was one of those cheesy skillet boxes. I thought he liked cheese....maybe not processed cheese. He loves blue cheese though.
