This is for real?

I think those places in malls that bake cinnamon buns do the same thing. It’s impossible to walk by without craving one

Just load five Christmas CDs into the player. Two tapping or singing at the top of your lungs music. It’s beginning to sound a little like Christmas
Starting a pot of chili for later today. Fa La La La La

I agree, I hate being forced to get electronic bills or statements - or pay for hardcopies. Although i did get into the billpay trap because it is so easy!

But I found I miss going to town and seeing people. People here are SO nice, unlike the illegals in California and people too busy to notice anyone else. So I don’t get prescriptions mailed any more and quit ordering from Walmart.com so much

There’s a lot to be said for the old ways!

Wish it was snowing here so I didn’t have to work.

Was just out sweeping oak leaves out of our rocks, pea gravel, that hubby used to surround our home.

It’s much easier to sweep as there are too many for the blower, he’ll blow what I don’t sweep.

Then we need to rake the whole back yard.

Told him it would keep till Monday as he woke up with a doozy of a headache.

Love being retired too, NIKK, as there is always tomorrow or the day after that.

Ok, it’s good to have that expert perspective. Just a bad location, it seems. I live in a holler, so the same terrain issues here!

TY rusty!

It seems only the chains have chicken fried steak. The ma and pop places don’t, so maybe it’s not traditional southern food. I never thought I’d be going to Chili’s or Fatz for my chicken fried steak fix here!

I tend to think of it as Country Fried Steak and regard it as Western not Southern. Looking it up, there is some justification for that https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_fried_steak
