Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.

"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

The governor of the Mexican state of Veracruz, Miguel Angel Yunes, said on Friday buses would be provided to carry migrants to the nation’s capital.

However, Mr Yunes cancelled the offer just hours later, blaming a water shortage in the city for his decision.

In a video posted to Twitter on Friday, Mr Yunes said that a “serious shortage of water” in Mexico City over the weekend meant that it would be wrong to transport the migrants there.

“The shortage will affect more than seven million people,” he said, adding that his initial offer of supplying buses would have made the situation worse.

“I would like to ask the migrants, while the problems get solved and we wait for an in-depth solution to this issue, that they accept an invitation to go to a city of Veracruz further to the south, to a bigger city where they will have adequate installations to provide them with safety.”

Responding to Mr Yunes in an open letter, the migrants said the governor’s decision to withdraw his offer to help transport people hundreds of kilometres was unacceptable.

I think I will try that type of thinking. A church interviews us concerning financial support. But they decide to withdraw. So, I say, "I'm sorry. That is unacceptable. You must support us."

For sure. It’s exasperating. The big tech companies are a monopoly, censoring what information the public gets. I’m all for private business rights, but not at this level. They all work together for political purposes, and to make competition impossible.

I read, earlier, that CNN stepped in it, AGAIN. Interviewed a woman at a Gillum ‘rally’....asked her if 0blama’s appearance helped influence her vote for Gillum....she said, Yes! It sure did.

The woman just happened to be Gillum’s MOM.

You can’t make CNN stuff up, anymore.

I have Suddenlink. They added inews, which is Israel news, and I watch it occasionally, but I wish they would add OAN.
