LOL! Sounds just like ME when my boys were getting ready for Higher Ed. I told them that I would pay 100% for Tech College so they could actually LEARN A TRADE, BUT they had to live at home (bought crappy cars for the commute) and I had full access to their teachers via e-mail, phone, etc.
Worked like a charm! They had their degrees in TWO YEARS and I turned out two 100% employable tax payers who have NEVER returned to live in my basement for one minute! :)
One is a City Planner and the other is an IT Guy.

Thanks! Those were some LEAN years, but it was worth it to have no student debt for either and that they could hit the ground running. :)
