I was on a civil jury in a trial where the defense barely even presented a case. Hardly any facts were in question. The trial was condensed to less than two days because 95% of the disputed facts were resolved through pre-trial motions. I was really surprised the case even went to trial. I could see from the docket number that it have been filed THREE YEARS earlier, and I knew from my own experience that there had probably been many settlement offers from the insurance company representing the defendant (it was an auto accident).

I saw the whole thing as a sham from the start. I envisioned a scenario where I would be the only one in the jury room who felt that way and I'd be arguing against five other jurors. So I decided to wait until everyone else gave their input before I said a word ... and it was 5-0 in favor of the defense by the time they got to me.

We were in the jury room for no more than 20 minutes. When the verdict was rendered I thought the plaintiff's attorney -- a good attorney who presented the case well but had no facts on her client's side -- was going to faint and fall off her chair. LOL.

Yes but that is not being demonstrated at all. Ford is not being cross examined in the least. The Prosecutor for the republicans speaks to her like she's talking to a new born baby. Ford is a witness that is not being impeached in any way. She has nothing but you would never know because the republicans have handcuffed themselves so badly. The democrats have to be laughing their asses off at how stupid the republicans look.

Stick a fork in this nomination and start selecting who's next. I can't believe the President held off on firing Rosenstein today for this crap.

Thought these hearings would be about the nominee for Supreme Court.and the nominee’s involvement into an alledged incident while a minor.

But testimony has been allowed to degrade into a purulent description replete with emotional sobbing of the helpless victim heart tugging by Senator Finestein (and others following) her opening statement describing an alleged rape by the accuser (avoiding any reference to; Who while a teen and seems to have been sexually active and practiced consentual sex) allowed the fact the nominee was not even present or involved not to become emphasized.
