Why is QAnon a danger to the Trump Presidency? Here are six well-reasoned points, provided by the meme blogger known as Carpe Donktum ...
1. With introduction of the Secret Plan and the "Kabuki Theater" that is required to believe in the plan, Q has placed himself in a position to "interpret" Trump. This undermines the power of the President's words and allows Q to change the message.
2. The net effect of "The plan" is a calming effect on MAGA people who SHOULD BE mad as hell about the lack of support the President is getting from his AG. It also numbs many to legitimate danger that the Mueller Investigation poses, especially if November goes poorly for MAGA
3. Q at it's very core lies about who he/it is, we do not know or understand the motives for this lie. Therefore we cannot predict how the lie could evolve and where the liar at the center of it might lead his followers.
4. Q has red pilled many about certain information that was already known to many of us. That's good. What is not good however is the rampant and reckless conspiracy theories that have been spawned after people with a little bit of knowledge but not much judgement, run with it.
5. Q has brought out the very worst in some it's followers, prompting them to attack any non-believers viciously. It has fed paranoia that many people that have played a vital role in maga have been deep state plants, simply because they do not believe Q is real.
6. Q has given hope to those who do not yet deserve it. Q says, trust the plan, watch the show, it's all taken care of. There is no hope without hard work and sacrifice. We need every single person to be on the front line fighting, not sitting back waiting for a savior.
McCain wasn’t executed and any attempt to fly that nonsense blows a hole in your sanity. Now please, serious people are trying to help help Trump in November. Go sell your nonsense to George Noory or some other crackpot.
1. Q may be a group of intelligent, keenly informed people, who began this as a LARP, but soon discovered they'd created a monster too big for them to easily stop or control.
2. Q could also be a Deep State psyop, designed to suck the brains out of the Deplorable right.
3. Q could also be a renegade military intelligence program (as you say), but in the MAGA era, I doubt they'd have to resort to such secrecy and cryptic commmunications. It would be just as easy to leak important data to the public using straightforward, plain language, instead of convoluted word puzzles and cryptic quatrains.
My personal opinion is that the project began at #1 and was then subsumed by TPTB into #2.

Q is legitimate and leaves information that has sound meaning. All you have to do is read and do the research and draw your conclusion. If you don’t like it, then go listen to Mark Levin scream into the Mic but stop trying to claim Q is a detriment.

But all the plans that Obama has carried out had someone opined on these theories eight years ago, those aren’t ludicrous, HRC, the dossier, using our own intelligence, that’s not ludicrous, but it did happen. Because it’s dangerous, asking us to trust people in the DOJ like Sessions that Trump himself has repeatedly called a disgrace, whose actions are obviously traitorous.
A perfect analogy is that your actions are exactly equivalent to those falsely claiming that Islam is a religion if peace, and insisting there’s no such thing as Islamic extreme terrorism. Like Trump and others have said, until you can name the enemy, in this case the current DOJ, you have no chance of defeating it.

Ridiculous, and proof you know nothing about the military. If there was a secret operation, they’d be doing everything they could to actually keep it secret. It’s basic opsec, and someone in the chain would have already found and shut this rogue operator down.
If any intelligence operation is involved at all, it’s some deep state mind control operation, designed to trick you into trusting the DOJ instead of realizing the obvious truth that the DOJ is one of the main dens of deep state criminals. Whoever thus Q is, they seem to be doing a number on weak minded individuals, and conspiracy theorists suffering anxiety disorders. Probably some mentally unstable person themselves.
Obviously because he is only a President, and not a King, so he is not fully in control of the situation. He is already under investigation by a special counsel, which could lead to his impeachment and removal, and has been threatened with impeachment, by those in Congress who control impeachment, were he to fire Sessions.
This is the exact reason the Q fantasy is so dangerous. It leads the gullible to believe Trump is fully in control, and beyond the reality of impeachment, when the actual facts are it’s staring him in the face right now. And Trump is in that precarious position because of the actions of Jeff Sessions, the exact person Q tells us to trust, despite Trump’s extreme and constant attacks on Sessions the blind Q supporters tell us to ignore.

Always seem to happen in proximity to a "disaster drill" and right after bad news for the Deep State; and followed by strident calls for elimination of the 2nd Amendment, by the usual gang of Marxists.
BTW, how come there were no frenzied calls for gun control after the Las Vegas shootings? How come the press over that was shut down so quickly? Was it because most of the victims were of a demographic presumed to be Trump supporters?

Honestly I haven’t tracked the Q commerce at all, so you may be right. I’m well aware of how much people can take in via payment platforms like patreon and the superchats, its a bit crazy.

Then why doesn’t POTUS stop it? One simple tweet is all it would take, just one. “Qanon is fake news” Just like that Q is gone. Why hasn’t that happened?
Qanon doesn't rise to the level of importance for the President to take any interest in it, or comment on it in any way.
You may believe in it with all your heart, but that doesn't make it anything more than a passing internet phenomenon.
