My opinion, as a non-American conservative is that the USA needs to keep at least a couple of steps ahead of Russia and China who have been investing a lot to upgrade their military forces. Hopefully there won’t be a big conflict involving the superpowers, but if the worst comes to the worst, best to try to ensure you come out on top.

I think sooner of later someone will make a move. Simply because of the growing population of the planet and the scarcity of natural resources including food sources etc. Ultimately I trust in God, that He has a plan, but we should still be prepared.

You might be right, but, I don't remember Obama ever sounding moderate. Every word out of his mouth, was completely illogical and senseless and based on communism/socialism. But, the magic of perhaps becoming the first black president was very attractive to those who have no understanding of what America is all about. Alexandria isn't saying anything that Obama has not already said, as president, or before and after. America knew what he was all about, and they still went stupid in 2008 and 2012.

But Obama was smart.

People around him were smart, and they got him to run for senator and president, because, they knew that there was a certain percentage of the population that would vote to elect a black man as president, no matter how dumb or ignorant or inarticulate.
