My opinion, as a non-American conservative is that the USA needs to keep at least a couple of steps ahead of Russia and China who have been investing a lot to upgrade their military forces. Hopefully there won’t be a big conflict involving the superpowers, but if the worst comes to the worst, best to try to ensure you come out on top.
I think sooner of later someone will make a move. Simply because of the growing population of the planet and the scarcity of natural resources including food sources etc. Ultimately I trust in God, that He has a plan, but we should still be prepared.
