All that ends up, if it does at all, independently of Congressional action. But looking at just the dance between Rosenstein (FBI/DOJ) and Congress, on the question of the Trump frameup, Congress has been very slow to act so an over-reaction (In peach him!) is probably natural.

For my part, I have no idea... just a wait-and-see attitude. Certainly RR has appeared to get away with multiple crimes. I believe the truth will out [if the Blue Wave does not succeed] and justice will prevail.

It's interesting how many of the details and arguments are recycled over the long haul. The charge that Rosenstein had a conflict came up almost immediately after Mueller was appointed, in that if Mueller was going to investigate Trump for obstruction for firing Comey to stop the Russia investigation, Rosenstein had a clear conflict of interest. Now it comes up again, but no facts or assumptions changed.
I recall speculation very early on that FBI was spying on Trump willy nilly without any warrant and no justification beyond political opposition research - that the FISA warrant was a sham to justify on paper, the willy nilly warrantless spying for political purposes. This is not a new theory, it has been around for over a year.

Could you remind me what that is? It could very well be that RR and Mueller are not white hats per se, but so leveraged that they are doing the right thing for other reasons.

This I think is NOT possible. The House leaks worse than a sieve... security is terrible {Adam Schiff and the court fool, Eric Swalwell.} I think some of them will get caught in Stealth Jeff's Canary Trap.
It has been and continues to be really shrilly over there. They need a serious house cleaning and a whole lot of timeouts.
