A suspect being pursued by police crashed his vehicle, got out of the vehicle and ran into the store, LAPD Officer Mike Lopez told CNN.
Lopez said customers ran out of the Trader Joe’s. Police are still trying to determine whether there are any hostages inside the store.
He said he did not know whether any shots had been fired by the police or suspect.
This is a developing story.

Hard to see how it could be considered national news.
Apparently earlier the suspect shot his girlfriend and grandmother in South LA. (Per local cbs)
They do have very good prices there, so can’t blame the guy.

I had seen an image inside of Trader Joe’s, and the sign over the Charles Shaw display was $2.99. Who knows? Haven’t been inside one since we moved to Tennessee from California.
Just think, with the new Law in CA where stealing under $1,000 worth of Merchandise will get you a Ticket instead of being arrested for Grand Theft, he would have to steal 500 Bottles of Two Buck Chuck to be thrown in the Slammer.
I heard it might be called Three Buck Chuck nowadays, so make it 334 Bottles.

Perp apparently was wounded and is receiving aid from someone inside the store.
Woman in vehicle was wounded. Unknown as to whether she was a victim or participant.
Up to 50 people (employees and customers) are still in the multiple-floor store.
When I was at CPAC many years ago, the NRA bought the Wine that was served at the Reagan Dinner.
You guessed it, Two Buck Chuck.
CPAC was held in Virginia that year, and was sitting next to the Assistant Secretary of the Army. When I joked about the Wine, he corrected me. He said with the Taxes there it was actually Three Buck Chuck.
That can shake you up even if it was long ago. I used to live just a couple of blocks from that house where Richard Speck murdered 8 young nurses in Chicago. And my wife was a nurse at South Shore Hospital nearby, but those nurses worked at another different nearby Hospital.
Wait. So one INJURED perp with a gun and 50 people in store? And someone is treating the perp?
Strange situation.

Yes Trader Joe’s has interesting items you can’t find elsewhere and everyone in my family loves Trader Joe’s.
If this is near Hollywood, the perp had better watch out for Two-Buck Chuck Norris.
