The mine is >525 meters (1,722 ft) deep (4th in the world) and has a diameter of 1,200 m (3,900 ft),[1] and is one of the largest excavated holes in the world
There's other information including the Open Pit mine was closed in 2001, but tunnel mining has continued on the same site until the present with plans to continue until approx 2030.
There are other open pit mines producing gold, silver, copper and diamonds (plus platinum although couldn't find specific locations where that was recovered) scattered all over the area, including near the origination of the Cash Plane.
Oh yeah. It definitely IS NOT the Brigham Pit.

They are taking up the whole amount of the Oquirrh Mountain range in Salt Lake County, Utah...
It is now called: Kenncott Copper Mine...they have one also I do believe in Idaho...
Just some local info...my Great Grandfather and Grandfather worked at the Bingham Copper Mine and lived in Highland Boy, a town that the mine over took many years ago...

Thank you very much for your detailed and supportive explanation. It was exactly what I needed and makes perfect sense. I am truly an optimist. And do Trust our President and especially God. I have been trying to devise what things I could do to be supportive with what little time and resources I have available. Been thinking about voter drives and the ground game where our side needs to step up on too. Need to create a larger social circle too and investigate all the ways I can help.
I do hope a tidal wave of folks like me who are busy going go to work every day, dealing with fires in our lives and can’t get into the streets so easy to protest will turn out again in DROVES this next election to support our Great President and keep Congress ‘R’s.

I’m hoping and praying with you too, but I do so strongly believe that the energy is rolling in the Red Tide’s favor. Just look at the Donald’s rallies, and seeing the thousands who turn up and can’t even get in tells you that the strong likelihood for a successful midterm election is more than possible..... but that does not mean we can slack! It takes EACH of us to do whatever task we are called to do, great or small!

That is quite an operation there! Wonder why they were using such poorly maintained planes so that their diamond cargoes would be at such risk. And you would think they could afford to upgrade their cargo fleet. Strange thing all the way around.

I try to never miss viewing (on TV or internet) the rallies. Attended only one when was in my state. Took my daughter and it was wonderful to say the least. The energy there is HUGE! And the crowds continue to grow. I remember President Trump saying not long ago they are going to start putting screens outside so the overflow crowds can be part of the rally outside too! There are always THOUSANDS who cannot get in. This is amazing. I believe his support actually grows daily.
I look enthusiastically to the day we can make HUGE inroads into changing the education and media institutions to actually report and teach FACTS and TRUTH. Or at least have open and FREE speech again.
