I think you mean it was a freudian slip - which it was. You can clearly hear it’s *not* “China”, it’s “Child tra—”, then he switches and starts anew re China. And, it makes sense, since the 12/21/17 EO + SpyGage are all near the top of the agenda! IMO ;)

And by the way, I don’t think Trump misspoke when he said “child” at minute 4:12.
Right before it at around 4L03 he says “We have a lot of good things to talk about, and we have things to talk about,” which distinguishes the good developments from the other, horrible topic of child trafficking.
I’m not betting the farm on it, nor am I trying to lobby for it as highly likely, but I will point out that *IF* I were in his shoes and trying to interview a couple of black hats, I would nod and agree and just try to draw them out without showing my hand. Which is pretty much what he did.
If I were a known conservative, I would have a much more combative approach. But if I were a known conservative, they probably wouldn’t sit down and talk to me.
Different approaches yield different types of info. When people are comfortable and think you are “on their side” they let their guard down (even on camera) and are far more likely to blurt out things that might not be in their best interest to reveal.
Another possibility is that Reiner is neither black nor white, but is attempting to learn the truth.
