The Pit Bull Problem. A Few Root Causes

The Humanization of Animals

From the beginning of domestication, our ancestors in their great wisdom worked hard to erect a barrier between animals and humans in order to avoid falling into the trap of animal humanization and the very damaging sentimentality that accompanies it, as much for animals as for humans. Since animals are not inert objects that can be exploited at will without any risk of illness, injury, and environmental damage, it was necessary for reasons of common sense to take precautions to avoid the worst.

PETER SINGER But for the past fifty years or so, animal advocates, such as Peter Singer, the Karl Marx of animal liberation – a progressive movement from the left, in the same line of thought as the other libertarian movements, such as feminism, pedophilia, LGBT, gay marriage, gender theory, bestialism, multiculturalism, massive immigration, no borders, and globalism (55)(56) – an attempt is made to destroy the above barrier by extending human rights and privileges to animals.

Shifts in meaning and the replacement of words and expressions specific to animals by their human equivalent are thus currently observed. So, instead of saying, for example, “animal,” the word “child” is used, “buy” is replaced by “adopt,” and “pound,” by “shelter.” The name of the breed is capitalized as in humans and the names given to pets are mostly human names. Recently, for progressive reasons of the type listed above, Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, a notorious no-borders like his father, has even legalized sex with animals... as long as there is no penetration! (57)(58) Who will police this law and how... remains a mystery!

With an attitude like that, nobody would bring him their dog or cat!

What people don’t get— pits are STUPID. Low IQ like Maxine Waters. Combine that with easily triggered aggression...a lot of pretty girls get their pretty faces eaten off.

Millions have. The cats are generally willing to be wild if they have to, but will gladly adapt to being housepets, especially if raised that way from kittenhood.

I wonder if this is that evil vet from “Beethoven.”

Would AI robots kill all Pit Bulls because it was logical?

There could be a temperament problem with that breed. If doggie IQ could be measured, a border collie would probably best all of dogdom.

If house cats could weigh as much as their owners this thread would have a different title.

No, sadly you just can't trust a Pit Bull from shelters because you don't know the lineage, and that unfortunately pretty much condemns them all.

The Pit Bull was once the preferred family dog, loyal, loving and protective. So what happened? The breed didn't just suddenly mutate on it's own. The one and only cause for the change in these animals has been man. No not man in general, just the sick SOB's that fight dogs or the drug dealing Rap Crapsters that think it makes them a man to have a damaged animal so vicious they are unsafe in any environment.

I'm not going to defend the damaged animals, just like Dobies, Rotties, German Shepherds and others before them the damaged lines need to be eliminated...........not the entire breed.

I myself would not take an animal any more if I didn't have knowledge of it's lines, and I have adopted/rescued all of my dogs for almost fifty years. My daughter has a Pit Bull and he is the most timid and loving dog. But we it's lines, it comes from Pits that have been in her In Laws families for decades. One thing though, it'll be flowers to the funeral of anyone that attacks my daughter or grandson, and not so oddly that brings a smile to my face.

That’s the point, they probably think about stalking, killing, and eating you all the time. They probably think about that with anything that moves, and make an assessment.

You can’t be serious about boxers. They are sweethearts and clowns, famously good as family pets.

It’s easier for the cats to snuggle, weave, and beg, and so they do.

If one wanted to do a pit rescue, they’d be wise to make it a strictly outdoor, rural, escape proof operation.

Do you think a mouse that could bribe cats with cat food could escape?

I wouldn’t want to be a mouse who bribes cats even if it worked 100 times in row, come on. “Don’t sweat it, this tiger is cool to walk past if I give it a steak. I have done it a bunch.” Said no one ever. And another problem is that the next strange cat that sees the bribing mouse is not going to get the program right away.

Sounds like what someone who knows nothing about the breed might say.

God made animals capable for their own survival that they may reproduce. When men used the pit bull for their own advantage in the dog fighting sport, they cultivated the best fighting machine known to man. The dogs that exhibited favorable traits survived. Those that did not, did not survive. Survival of the fittess exploiting God’s perfect design of genetic adaption. These fighting machines through genetic adaption have a switch in their brain that cause these dogs to clamp down with their jaws and won’t let go even unto death. Once they bite down, their powerful muscles, developed though genetic selection, go into a shaking action that disconnects huge portions of body mass from their victim’s body. Few animals can perform this action as deadly as the pit bull. Even the most friendly, domesticated, pit bull has this capability and that trigger of death in their brain.
