He aint no Man OWar. ;-)
Pretty hard to see anything in this race. It has stopped raining, and thick fog has rolled in.
It is 6:48, not 6:20.
He did not do too well in the slop at Louisville, so today may be a bummer for him again.
If I could wager, it’d probably be a 10 cent super : Justify/all/all/all
Just so I could say I hit the super!
Thanks for posting. I had forgot about the Preakness today. I’m rooting for Justify and Mike Smith.
Being a short field (8 compared to the Derby’s 20) and having two horses getting MOST of the money, those being Justify getting the Lion’s Share, and Good Magic getting sloppy seconds, every other horse will have (I hope ) even more inflated win odds. I have 3 longshots figuring into my superfectas ( I have a tvg.com account) and I am very excited about D. Wayne’s entries, Bravazo and Sporting Chance. ALSO, Lone Sailor cannot be excluded from either the trifecta or superfecta. Irad Ortiz is a jockey who can do anything, and I saw this about 4 years ago when he was still a bug boy. He and his brother are in the Preakness, (Jose is on Good Magic) and if the race plays out the way it might, he would be the only really LIKELY one to catch Justify at the wire, if Justify happens to try a repeat of the Derby on the lead all the way.I have win bets on 4 long shots #1 Quip #2 Lone Sailor #3 Sporting Chance and #8 Bravazo-—I have a very strong feeling that both Lukas horses will be in the top four-—If Good Magic and Justify finish 1-2 or 2-1 , it won’t much matter who is 3rd or 4th-—the payoffs will almost make it not worth betting. So I am going with Sporting Chance to win.
For a dime it’s just possible, in this short field, that you’d make make $2 on that bet, but not impossible in Good Magic comes in 2nd, you’d actually LOSE money.
Hey guys! That was a great derby for me. I actually got lucky for once. Exacta Justify Good Magic.
We put a few bets on the Preakness but I will have to listen in the car on XM cause I am GOING TO TAYLOR SWIFT and Im as excited as a 14 year old. :)
They just showed this justify foal picon tv. Adorable.
Yeah, $ is on the tri / or betting against Justify. Its just for fun.
Must not be too cold there. Star Spangled Banner being sung now. And some woman are in sleeveless dresses! Looks cold and foggy.

My son has Lone Sailor in his bets, I have Quip in mine, and I like good magic too.
Yea... I actually was also thinking Justify/Good Magic/all/all
That could break even
I have had a few beers in the infield at Pimlico. Always extra funny watching the crowd when it rains.
Slop at the K.Derby wasn’t the problem. He had a bad start, then was stymied several times as he tried to make his late move. He won a maiden race in the slop by 11 lengths.
Check out the Past Performances link I posted above.
“Lone Sailor is the only other runner with a triple-digit figure from the last three outings, receiving a 100 for a close second in the Louisiana Derby.
The Tom Amoss-trained late runner brought improving form into the Kentucky Derby but was repeatedly stopped and forced to regain his momentum recording a severely-troubled eighth. Irad Ortiz Jr. will pick up the mount for the Preakness.
Good Magic has not run back to the 105 he earned posting an upset win in the Breeders Cup Juvenile at Del Mar.
The Kentucky Derby runner-up will be the clear second choice in the wagering, but Good Magics Speed ratings are far from overwhelming.
