I was totally engaged designing my annual Shavuos holiday card and didn't feel like getting up to go change the radio station. I really should have. Michael Savage spent the entire run of his radio program trashing the decision to move the Israeli U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. He kept beating the drum over and over again as to "Why did we need to move the embassy just now?" and how DREADFUL the Israelis were for firing live bullets instead of using water cannons to deter the rioting Palescumians charging the border fence. Considering the murders of innocent Jewish fathers, mothers, and kids committed by these wonderful subhuman savages, it is beyond belief that Savage would adopt a Rachel Corrie protective attitude toward them. They are throwing rocks at Israelis. Ever get hit by a rock? People can be seriously injured and even killed with them. And more than just rocks, the Times of Israel stated: "... “Rioters threw firebombs and stones at troops, tried to bomb and breach the security fence, and burned tires..." There were also numerous attempts to infiltrate into Israel to commit murder and other terrorist acts. Not exactly an atmosphere for slaps on the wrist.
Every so often during his bizarre tirade, Savage would actually brag about his contrary position on what most conservatives consider a long-overdue correction.
Is this guy on drugs? Have the second-hand fumes from the San Fransicko addicts finally reached his self-proclaimed lofty intellect? What else could account for his absolute pride in shouting down a wonderful event?
Michael Savage (and I like him a lot) is, most regrettably, a sick puppy.

I like a lot of what he tries to do. And he can be entertaining, too. He is a very talented man. And smart. But, alas, he suffers from the JINO-type anti-Semitism...people born Jewish (and in Michael’s case, people who also consider themselves Jewish in some sense of the word)..... but who have adsorbed so much anti-Semitism that they’ve stored it up ..Michael suffered some real discrimination in his life, its understandable ...anyway the blame-the-Jews reflex is now inside them, a part of them.... so very very very sad. I pray Michael can recover from this sickness, it is not his fault (other than he’s certainly smart enough to recognize it, he need only look in a mirror... he’s very intelligent fellow .. he can get over this ...!).

I gave up on Savage when he proclaimed that nobody needed anything more than a .380 pistol like he had and that “assault weapons” should not be owned by ordinary citizens.

He’s a nominally jewish New Yorker parked in San Fruitcisco. Is right about 3/4 of the time on issues. Insufferable braggart and reminding constantly of all his education. Can vary from great humor to being an obnoxious bitch. Acts like a real tough guy...almost a “made man”. Off he goes much of the time lately.

I noticed that goofy on/off extreme about the music as well. You could never go with the flow of the music, knowing that a freakout was likely to occur at any second.
I also do not enjoy one iota of his frequent stereotypic attacks on "Brooklyn Jews". Apparently he had some traumatic experiences growing up which he blames on "Brooklyn Jews". That is no excuse to take jabs at them and their various actions on his radio program. Sometimes he sounds like he's broadcasting for Stormfront. Today, as he was assuming the role of some kind of "expert" on Israel, I wanted to shout out to him, "Why don't you tell us all about your latest treif (unkosher) meal? You subject us to every detail of your lobster, pork, and every other kind of unkosher entree of restaurant meals, clearly showing contempt for the laws of your ancestral fathers, yet you deign to pass judgment on Israel for doing what it needs to do in order to continue its existence. Stick to your treif, you're much better versed at filling your face with gobs of that than judging what Israel does.

Fortunately, he is no longer on the air here in Honolulu.
I could not have imagined Savage in this position before I heard it. I listen to him when he is not devoting his show to his eating habits or his dog. Sometimes he seems wrong-headed and sometimes he is prescient and sometimes he has some very sharp insights but opposing moving the embassy? Where did that come from?
Ummm, hate to break the news to you, but so is Jerusalem.
