My notions of this archive thread are that we could have a kind of "Gentleman's agreement" that:

1. The post's author cannot post their nomination of their own postings here. They could suggest to someone else it might be worth it.

2. Certainly humor posts may be worthy of archiving.

3. Witty, clever posts may be worthy.

4. Historically accurate summaries of important events, trends, issues that are well word-smithed, may be worthy.

5. Well described mileposts or benchmarks in a long sequence of say a topical event or trend--such as the Q-ANON phenomenon--may be worthy.

6. It would be, imho, BEST, if the chatter, discussion on this archive thread be minimal, or kept totally off. Discuss such things in the original thread from which the proposed post-to-be-archived came/comes from. Avoid such a discussion hereon.

6.1 PLEASE reserve this thread for strictly the best posts to archive, alone.

6.2 Similarly, Please avoid pinging others to this thread by posting a ping hereon. Instead, copy the URL of this thread's post and post that by PM or open originating thread to those you wish to alert to the archived post here.

7. It may be good to include a fitting KEYWORD or 2 to the keyword list of this thread.
