I can't believe it's been 25 years. I was in a bar when it went down.

The FIB shot them as they tried to escape the flames.

The FLIR Project.

The Declaration and the Constitution are based on suspicion of government. They were written somewhat further back than 25 years ago.

I wouldn’t say it sparked the suspicion. It was one in a long series of incidents. The most dramatic owing to the length of time and the fire and death toll. But you’ve got to include Ruby Ridge, and the Elian Gonzalez abduction, and I’m sure there’s a few more in there I’ve forgotten.

You must have been a helluva drunk back then. The siege itself was from February 28 until April 19, 1993.

said retired FBI agent and negotiator Byron Sage. "There were no good options. It was damned if you do, you're damned if you don't."

What a crock! David Koresh left the compound to go into town regularly and jogged daily. Why not pick him up then rather than assault the compound with flame throwers and tanks???

This was simply an exercise by the Feds to see is they could
get away with murdering American citizens with impunity. And they did. We sat back and let it happen. We are one or two generations away from gun confiscation without a shot being fired.
You’ll get a letter in the mail showing the firearms you have registered. Turn them in by 30 days. If not, your bank account will be seized, you won’t be able to renew your drivers license, etc. etc.

"It was a mess, and we played right into it -- into a prophetic, apocalyptic ministry that David Koresh had been preaching for 7 ½ years," said retired FBI agent and negotiator Byron Sage. "There were no good options.

There was most definitely a good option. The man was a creature of habit. He had patterns he followed in his day to day activities. So, prior to initiating the "stand-off", instead of trying to take Koresh out of what amounted to his fortress, they could have waited until he drove [alone] in to town to buy his morning paper and coffee and had a couple or three agents arrest him - most likely without incident.

Tragedy? This was mass murder.

I watched it go down on the news. This article is quite a spin. It lacks important details beyond the gov’s story.

Distrust of the fettgub monster started before Waco.

Waco just kinda made the fettgub threat impossible to ignore.

The Dallas Morning News rendition of what happened at Waco is what prompted me to never read their paper ever again.

I was visiting my parents in Phoenix when I saw the fire. I screamed at the TV. My parents had to hear me rant about what Hillary just did.

I would like to say something here.

Hillary ordered that fire. Why? Because she is a Satanist and she needed some human sacrifices. April 19th of that year was a Satanic holiday that required human sacrifice by fire.

She got them. Women and children died as a sacrifice to Satan.

"Within months after the compound burned, federal agencies told everyone involved not to talk about Waco. The agencies fought release of records and evidence, winning legal battles only to lose public opinion."

Seems like they were in a heap big hurry to bulldoze everything after it was over.....

clintons lynch holder obama and come walking around free is what’s haunting me these days.

I lived through U-2, Bay of Pigs, Vietnam fake body counts, Teddy Kennedy, failure to remove Bill Clinton, and on and on. I can’t remember the last time I trusted the government.

"How could a 33-year-old ninth-grade dropout convince so many people that he was the Lamb and God had willed this terrible end - nurses and teachers, a postman and a Harvard-educated lawyer, Australians and Brits, New Zealanders and an Argentinian-born Israeli Jew?"

On the other hand, how could Harvard and Yale-educated Liberal/Progressive politicians "convince so many people" that they know better than other citizens in America how to administer justice and protect the Constitution of the United States when, in fact, their stated goals from the late-1800's were to "fundamentally change" those foundations?
