Amy Schumer is feeling the heat from Social Justice Warriors for her new comedy 'I Feel Pretty.' It's merely the latest battlefront in the PC culture wars.

What this country needs is a Blazing Saddles Remix.
Can you image the exploding heads if Mel Brooks would do this?

Last year I bought the SNL Season 2 DVD collection from a used book store.
No way could 40% - 60% of the skits be done today.
That means we now have less freedom of speech than in 1976 - 1977.
Yes, that’s exactly what it means.

There really isn’t much comedy these days.
Vulgarity, crass behavior...
I’ve stopped going to the theater, and I find myself quitting movies 10-25% of the way through. I NEVER used to do that, or even be tempted to do it.

I love it when liberals consume their own.

Libtard comedy isn’t comedy and isn’t funny or humorous.
It is almost always nothing more than politically motivated attacks on non-liberals and policies liberals don’t like.

Why are you excerpting your own blog?
Only click-stitutes do that.

Comedies have been almost entirely absent from the top 20 films of each year for at least the last decade.

Trying to read that diatribe about woke comedy nearly put me to sleep.
The problem is that Libs keep trying to redefine things in new terms they have created for defining those things. Then, they take offense at those who do not understand their plight.

That might be the unexpected positive side of political correctness: it gives critics a reason to attack trashy movies (that they would otherwise endorse because they have no taste).
I've seen all or part of many of these movies. They make me really feel solidarity with the folks who claim they've never seen a movie in decades.

I call bull crap. GAME NIGHT is the #8 movie of 2018 so far ($68 mil). BLOCKERS has already cracked the top 20 after just 2 weeks in release. Amy Schumer’s expected results do not equate with a general downturn in comedy. (This article is nothing more than an attempt to soft-pedal her film’s approaching crash and burn. It’s not Amy, it’s comedy, don’t you see?)
There are more animated features than there were in years past. Blumhouse is cranking out a lot of successful horror flicks. The market is different, but GAME NIGHT & BLOCKERS are proving there is still a market for R-rated comedy.
