A newly discovered network of fluid-filled channels in the human body may be a previously-unknown organ, and it seems to help transport cancer cells around the body.
This discovery was made by chance, from routine endoscopies a procedure that involves inserting a thin camera into a persons gastrointestinal tract. Newer approaches enable doctors to use this procedure to get a microscopic look at the tissue inside a persons gut at the same time, with some surprising results. {snip}
This organ was likely never seen before because standard approaches for processing and visualising human tissue causes the channels to drain, and the collagen fibres that give the network its structure to collapse in on themselves. This would have made the channels appear like a hard wall of dense protective tissue, instead of a fluid-filled cushion.
But as well as protecting organs, the network may also aid the spread of cancer. When Theises team looked at samples taken from people with invasive cancers, they found evidence that cancer cells that had worked their way out of their original tissues could find their way into these channels, which took them directly to the lymphatic system. Once they get in, its like theyre on a water slide, says Theise. We have a new window on the mechanism of tumour spread.

Well said....
40 years is a far cry from the centuries you claimed in your earlier post.
And by golly, gee whiz.....you must not have checked up too much on the qualifications of your “Dr.” Bob Marshall. He received his PhD in nutrition (not medical studies) from Columbia Pacific University (CPU), a CORRESPONDENCE school that was ordered to shut down by the state of California in 1999. During the injunction, the co-founder of CPU, Lester Carr stated:
“CPU did not prepare any students for the clinical practice of nutrition at any level. CPU in its entire history never offered internships or clinical practicums associated with a masters or doctoral degree program of any kind which is the established requirement to justify professionally the clinical practice of nutrition.” I’d take that to mean that your respected source of information “Dr.” Marshall is about on par with Frazier Crane in terms of clinical knowledge and credibility, and even the school he “graduated” from says so.... But he MUST be right...he’s on the radio after all!!!! /s
(sigh) Sheeple....
Two thumbs up!!! Love it....
Again, state your source....last century?
I read the article.
What did I miss?
.
Dr Marshall’s competence is orders of magnitude beyond what most MDs acquire.
He has actual understanding of the workings of the body from study in disciplines that are actually successful at achieving full healing through nutrition. Few MDs have ever achieved any healing of any kind. Richard Shultz i9s the only living MD that I am aware of that can make that claim.
,
You’d be surprised how very little understanding most MDs even seek.
Oh, sure....we all know medical school by correspondence is the way to go. Please tell me you’re kidding, right?? How much did he pay you for your glowing recommendation? Have you trotted off to Austin to go see this fine example of education in person? If not, why not???
Just checking your math, too......so you’ve been listening to him for “at least 40 years,” hmmm? Well the JEWEL of a school he went to only opened in 1978. So if he’s been calling himself a doctor for at least 40 years, and the school he went to only opened 40 years ago, seem he might have taken just a wee tiny bit of artistic license with the title “Dr.”
BTW, you shouldn’t confuse your google search with my medical degree....just sayin’......
Is there something really new about this? I was taught about the lymphatic drainage system years and years ago.
And we always knew that cancer cells travel the lymph systems. That is why checking the nodes is so important.
It seems it’s completely separate from the lymph system. And it’s not ‘free’ like interstitial fluid that oozes from a blister. It appears to be its own closed-tube collagen-encased system around the heart/organs.
My first thought was, did they just discover a new drug-delivery pathway that can isolate drug therapy to just one specific organ?
anger repression of the mother? angered voices heard of father or others while in the womb? stress on unborn and infants is a major problem - i’ve seen it with some in my own relatives and yet the parents just cant figure out why their kid has problem or illness.
Some itmes too it may just be for the glory of God to be shown to anyone willing to be aware of it. He never promised us long life, just meaningful purposefilled lives whether unborn or born or 100 years.
if our medical system were actually interesting in the whole body instead of pieces parts this would be no surprise.
This seems like a no brainer their has to be a way that things get into the lymph system so obviously it needs to be fluid to permiate.
I learned in the 90’s that the Lymph system can spread cancer and other disease if it gets into it, so obviously this is nothing really new to many folks, just our “standard of care” medical doctors who don’t treat the body as a whole.
I guess I am not understanding what makes it different from the lymphatic drainage system.
.
I wish you were kidding, but you ereally are that ignorant of human physiological realities enough to believe this fake story.
Real healers have been aware for a long time. The AMA quacks that thrive on human suffering by selling useless destructive drugs, and destructive surgeries now want to say “Me Too!]
Nutrition heals, pharmaceuticals kill. Alopathic Medical malpractice takes millions of lives every year.
.
.
Step back.
Drug therapy kills and has never healed anyone.

Might be to let Admin check that it isn’t a malicious link and save a few from clicking on the doorway to hell.
Interesting that you call me ignorant. As a NURSE who has worked in the field of healthcare for 27 YEARS, I find it most amusing that an EDITOR-SURVEYOR who gets medical information off the RADIO thinks you have ANY medical credibility at all. Oh, wait, you must have a Doctorate degree in editing and surveying??? I see..... you’re a REAL HEALER, too, right? That’s not to dispute the value of non-traditional medicine. It has a place, and a big one, and is a recognized part of medicine today. But that’s not what “Dr.” Bob is sharing over the airwaves.
“Destructive surgery” saved my life. “Nutrition” isn’t going to cure major back problems, nor would nutrition have prevented them. As an Infectious Diseases nurse, I can tell you the nearly 2,000 patients I have worked with over the years would dispute that “nutrition” could have cured their hepatitis c, strep throat, meningitis, measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough, tuberculosis, syphillis, chicken pox, shingles, wound infections, HIV/AIDS, STD’s, etc....
I also still haven’t heard your source for your claim that natural healers have known about these fluid filled channels in the human body for centuries. The Hippocratic Oath taken by physicians was first found written in Ionic Greek, a language common between the third and fifth centuries BCE....or some 2,100+ years ago. Do you have the natural healer’s textbooks from that time frame to validate your claim?
Likewise, I haven’t heard your explanation for how you have been listening to “Dr. Bob” for at least 40 years on the radio when his reported “medical school” only opened 40 years ago. If he was truly a doctor with a specialization in clinical nutrition, he would have needed at least 12 years of medical school to attain that. So either you’re lying (ok, I’ll give you benefit of the doubt...maybe you’re a forgetful old geezer).... or maybe mistaken......or maybe just completely misled by this DOCTOR whose has a job on the radio about how long you’ve been listening to his pearls of wisdom.
From Health & Fitness blog (http://doctorjimoh.info/blog/2016/12/dr-bob-marshall-bio-know-more-about-popularly-revered-clinical-nutritionist/) about “Dr.” Bob’s bio: “He studied at Columbia Pacific University and completely attained his degree in 1978.” He must have been a short course of study because CPU only OPENED in 1978.
You also haven’t answered whether or not you have actually ever met this fine physician in person. If we should all drop to our collective grateful knees that he has saved us from the evils of big pharma and cured “many difficult health conditions” with healthy eating, I’d think you’d have trotted right off to see him to cure what ails you?
Nor have I heard you refute any of the FACTS about your Dr. Marshall: he got a PhD in nutrition from a non-accredited correspondence school that was shut down more than 20 years ago, with a course of “study” that took less than 2 years. CPU admits to giving student credit for a full graduate level course for providing 2 reference letters. Sounds VERY academic to me. The schools’ own CO-FOUNDER agreed with the allegations about the lack of education provided at CPU.

You can call me ignorant if you’d like. But the United States Army, Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire (that’s Ivy League, in case they don’t talk about it on Dr. Bob’s fruits and nuts radio program), Grand Canyon University, Liberty University, the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, and Alpha Chi Honor society might disagree with you.
BTW, it’s spelled allopathic, oh educated one... :)
Thanks for the laughs!
Real healers know that the only path to healthy bodies and thus natural healing is complete nutrition.
There is no inorganic, mechanical path to health.
Nutrition does indeed cure all degenerative back and heart problems completely. Injuries pose unknown difficulties, but the path to healing is also nutritional in the big picture. This is not to say that suturing torn tendons and ligaments is counterproductive, but even then the damage done by surgery must be addressed nutritionally.
Pharmaceuticals are death in a capsule.
Anyone who has listened to Bob Marshall's radio programs in the ‘80s and ‘90s knows that there are many informational, and nutritional pathways in the body that allopathic medicine chooses to ignore because they are not a source of easy wealth.
.
Yehova designed humans to heal by just eating the stuff that grows in alluvial dirt.
