More disturbing details emerged Friday about the pervy Long Island judge accused as a serial underwear snatcher after his arrest for raiding the hamper of an East Islip neighbor.
Robert Cicale, when busted for grabbing the undies of his 23-year-old former intern, was carrying a raincoat — its pockets filled with additional panties, authorities said.
“He indicated in his confession that he has urges to steal women's underwear,” said Suffolk County District Attorney Tim Sini. “It's a strange set of facts.”
Prosecutors, without identifying anyone, said the investigation had turned up five victims of the injudicious Cicale.
“This is highly disturbing,” said Sini. “This individual who swore to uphold the law ... violated it in a very serious way.”

Seriously, what is with these people? Is everyone a perv and I just don’t know it? Or is it somehow a requirement for holding public office?
To avoid having to watch the video, could you let us briefly (no pun intended) and not too graphically know what they guy did? I’m assuming he progressed from stealing underwear to something else? Murder?

You are correct. Murder. And he was photographing himself in the woman’s underwear while in their house. It’s incredibly compelling video. Hollywood couldn’t have come anywhere near doing as good a job. The guy doing the questioning was incredibly composed. He led the killer down a path that he knew he could not get out of. I strongly recommend watching it. You only have to see 40 minutes to get to the confession.
There was a case like that on “Forensic Files” I think.
