Jeff Sessions: Winner or Loser?

Posted on 02/08/2018 11:26:48 PM PST by KJC1

There is no monetary reward, of course.

But let's as FReepers place "bets". We can give each other Schiff later over who was wrong or right.

Some think he's napping, some think he's working behind the scenes.

So, if you'd like to participate, please do, and I hope I'm right but I vote for working behind the scenes.

I said, "Sessons is going to turn this around."

This was the cards that where played. How many cards do you have that can play? Trump was given a weak hand to play

How do you over come this?

You allow your opposition to play first. Then you take them down one at a time.

Which is exactly what he has been doing. Today Warner went down.

You guys are in for a treat. This is the best political game I have ever witnessed!

The best part is yet to come. When they pressure Robert Mueller to prosecute the bad guys. It sounds bad but there will be nothing he can do he will have a new team to "help him." This is down the road some though.

They might play the uranium one "card." I'm not sure yet but that is an option. It sounds bad because Robert Mueller was part of it. That can be used against him.

Look, if we hit the summer with nothing, I'll have to agree with you.

Sure, why not. This is only the worst scandal in U.S. history, and we've got an AG who spends his days going after teenage pot smokers.

Sessions has only been on the job for a year. Give him time. I'm sure he'll eventually come around and decide to uphold his solemn oath to the American people.

No! The writing is already on the wall, was when Sessions immediately stabbed Trump in the back and recused himeself, then went off and took a nap.

I don’t believe anyone in the Executive Branch testifies to the Legislative Branch without permission.

Sessions said nothing about testifying. He ordered DOJ employees to go through their department's legal office before even TALKING to Congress.

I think we’re done here as far as civil discourse.

Seriously?

Asking you a couple of pointed questions is being uncivil?

Geez...grow a hide, friend.

I don’t disagree with your post, but I fail to see how Sessions is going to have anything to do with “turning this around.”

Your tagline would be more accurate if it read “California is Mexico’s penal colony”.

Sessions hand picked Rosenstein before recusing himself. He is either stupid or part of the swamp. Either way, he needs to be fired because he sure can’t do the most important job he has to do, and we know Rosenstein is all in to get Trump, so either way,

SESSIONS HAS TO GO.

I’m with you, Reno. My post was sarcasm.

Mueller will never finish his report. He will still be “investigating” on Trump’s last day in office, with however many indictments he can muster.

Working behind the scenes on deep state.

But also we have seen this week a huge bust on and international internet theft and malware ring. We have seen thousands of pedos busted and child sex slaves rescued.

My vote, Trump’s got more than one game going, and if Sessions was corrupted, will hang him, too.

My vote:

Sessions in in deep over his head. He’s an insider and a convenient leash on the President. If he’s just sandbagging, I’ll eat my hat

Working behind the scenes on deep state.

I might have agreed with you until the feds asked a judge to reconsider the dismissal of the criminal case against the Bundy's.

AG is a tough spot to fill with congressional hearings over the nomination and everything. The Dems will fight over that position like stray dogs over a pork chop. It could be that the President is being advised to bide his time on replacing Jeff Sessions. Work around him, and replace him after the mid-terms.

I was one of Session's critics, but I now believe he is a good man who is working behind the scenes. There were some good posters here on FR who defended him, and I have told them that I was wrong. I also apologize to Jeff Sessions.

Sure, it is frustrating to see evil triumph. Sure, it appears that Sessions is doing nothing. Sure, FOX News and other conservative media outlets say Sessions must go. Sure, he recused himself, which seems to have brought all this on. And yes, Trump himself has said in Tweets and in front of news cameras that he is disappointed with Sessions.

However, this is why I now believe Sessions is really doing God's work:

- If Sessions really were this bad, Trump would have fired him by now

- There are now almost 13,000 sealed indictments filed in just the last few months, in every district in the United States (the usual total number per year is less than 1,000). The graphic below is only through late December, and the number has grown since then:

- Whether you believe that Q is real, or not, the posts are intriguing and something to think about. According to Q, he says: "TRUST Sessions" and also discusses that the only way to take down a dangerous animal or enemy is not by charging through the front door. I think Sessions, Trump, and others have laid a trap for many (including the media).

- Finally, I thought about what posters like LS, Kabar, and Alberta's Child said. Do you really believe that Jeff Sessions, a man of great integrity and a patriot all his life, suddenly becomes a Milquetoast coward overnight? I struggled with that, and I was frustrated with Sessions with each piece of bad news at how the guilty continue to get away with literally murder. But I cannot reason in my mind how Session, a Christian man, would allow that to happen.

Pray for Sessions. Pray for Trump. Pray for our nation.

Like everyone else, I have wondered. I still cant say I like it but I read recently something to the effect, “Imagine how this would be playing out if it were being done the way would would like to see it. The libtards who howl and screech, hair on fire, with each arrest and spin furious claims ‘Trump is Hitler’ (which as we have seen, they are pretty readily willing to do so).” The impact of that would be to shift from “Obama was corrupt” to “Trump is Stalin”. This way there is a daily drip of 0bama/Hillary are criminals that is slowly gaining undeniable momentum and the argument is turning into “when will somebody do the right thing?” When Von Pantsuit finally does her perp walk the libtards will have no choice but to hang their heads in shame rather than rushing to the barricades to defend her.

The battle is in the media, not the courts, COngressioanl Hearings, or the Senate. When the Brown SHirt Media can no longer defend 0bama, that is the time for perp walks.

Sessons in the plan that is cooked up by Trump only has to approve of investigations. His job is minimal but critical.

My vote is that if Sessions does not have a RICO investigation going into the Deep State Swamp racketeering crime organization of Hillary, DOJ, FBI, IRS, State Dept, . and the Clinton Foundation, he is a supercilious a$$hat who should be fired.

Put in Rudy Giuliani or even Trey Gowdy.

Sessions was an idiot for not purging the DOJ and FBI of Obama sycophancy appointees on Day 1.
