Former Vice President Al Gore has weighed in on the record cold and snow in the U.S. “It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis,” Gore wrote on January 4 on Twitter.

Well... they aren't really proposing to fix ANYTHING. They just want the money for pretending to fix it.
If we took every conceivable thing of value and all the money/gold/etc. on the planet, it would not change the fact that the CLIMATE CHANGES.
We might as well claim we can keep the Moon from changing it's distance from the Earth.
The article at the link (below the excerpted article) by Charles Onians is a hoot. It’s from 2000 and bemoans the soon-to-be-gone snowfalls of Britain. I wonder what Mr, Onians is saying now.....
With that logic he thinks he can defrost frozen food by putting it in the freezer.

You forgot: whatever the weather is, YOU CAUSED IT BY LIVING. It’s your fault. Unless the weather is good. Then you didn’t build that.

I haven’t seen a winter this bad since...last winter.
Some people will believe anything. I had an otherwise intelligent (or so I thought) neighbor tell me that climate extremes were caused by global warming.
They just buy this crap hook, line and sinker.
Personally I think the earth has cycles and pollution is bad for us so not opposed to keeping the air clean for whatever reason.
What happened to all the Global Warming and Melting ?

Hey Al, take a trip, go check on how all those polar bears are doing swimming in that melted arctic ice.
“If it was in the 80s in Boston right now, Gore would attribute it to global warming. Now it’s 20 below and Gore blames global warming.”
Last Christmas the temp in the northeast US was mid-70s. Would be great to dig up an Algore quote from that time. haha
Its “exactly what we should expect” but not what he predicted 10 years ago, or 5 years ago. The Climate Change zealots like Gore benefit from the media never putting their past predictions side by side with their new predictions.
