FULL TITLE- REMINDER: Kwanzaa Was Concocted By A Deranged Felon Who Tortured Naked Women With A Karate Baton And A Toaster
As a public service, then, The Daily Caller is once again here to tell you the true and truly bizarre history of the violent, deranged and radical black nationalist who concocted the completely artificial holiday of Kwanzaa in 1966.
The creator of Kwanzaa is Maulana Ndabezitha Karenga, a 75-year-old professor of Africana studies at California State University, Long Beach. His real name is Ronald Everett. He was born in rural Maryland, the fourteenth child of a sharecropping Baptist minister.
Karenga was convicted in 1971 for brutally torturing two naked women. The women were members of Karengas ultra-radical, paramilitary, black nationalist cult called the US Organization, which went by the acronym US, according to a May 1971 Los Angeles Times story.
Deborah Jones, who once was given the Swahili title of an African queen, said she and Gail Davis were whipped with an electrical cord and beaten with a karate baton after being ordered to remove their clothes, the LA Times article reports.

They were worried about Karenga, so they interviewed him in a clinic.
The doctor left the room, but he was still secretly under observation from a tiny camera.
The minute the doctor shut the door Karenga began a discussion with his BLANKET.
He was NUTS.
Is Kwanzaa even a “thing” anymore?
Seems like I haven’t heard nearly as much about it as in previous years.
....”Is Kwanzaa even a thing anymore?..Seems like I havent heard nearly as much about it as in previous years”..
That’s because Obama and michele are gone!
California has been the home of fruits and nuts for many decades.
I thought that had all but gone toes up.
Do they even have Kwanzaa anymore? I haven’t heard about it in years.
Cmon Its just as real as Fetivus.
One of those truths you’re not allowed to tell.
My wife needed stamps last year. The post office claimed they only has Kwaanza stamps. I took them back. Apparently no one had ever returned stamps before.
‘Twas the night before Kwanzaa And all through the ‘hood,
Maulana Karenga was up to no good.
He’d tortured a woman and spent time in jail.
He needed a new scam that just wouldn’t fail.
(”So what if I stuck some chick’s toe in a vice?
Nobody said revolution was nice!”)
The Sixties were over. Now what would he do?
Why, he went back to school — so that’s “Dr.” to you!
He once ordered shootouts at UCLA
Now he teaches Black Studies just miles away.
Then to top it all off, the good Doctor’s new plan
Was to get rid of Christmas and piss off The Man.
Karenga invented a fake holiday.
He called the thing Kwanza. “Hey, what’s that you say?
“You don’t get what’s ‘black’ about Maoist baloney?
You say that my festival’s totally phony?
“Who cares if corn isn’t an African crop?
Who cares if our harvest’s a month or two off?
Who cares if Swahili’s not our mother tongue?
A lie for The Cause never hurt anyone!
“Umoja! Ujima! Kujichagulia, too!
Collectivist crap never sounded so cool!
Those guilty white liberals — easy to fool.
Your kids will now celebrate Kwanzaa in school!”
And we heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight:
“Happy Kwanzaa to all, except if you’re white!”

I’ve worked with Black people all of my life; I’ve never known one who celebrated this ‘holiday’.
LOL yep Kwanzaa is mainly recognized by liberal whites LOL.
Very few black people observe Kwanzaa. It just never really caught on in the black community. But it caught on among white liberals . Go figure
It's a "Celebration of Socialism". Nothing more. The seven candles represent the seven tenets of the Symbionese Liberation Army (Remember Patty Hearst?).
Each of the principles is simply a facet of Socialism.
So, yeah... white Liberals would undoubtedly find it a validation of their nutbag belief system.
you left out liberal white female librarians...
LMAO
