The scale model did look like skynet. Kind of amazing they went from design to working scale model in less than a month.

Based on the videos, they are going to need to work out a lot of kinks before something like that is put into use.

Color me skeptical, it looks like a lifting body with the wings of their "Bird of Prey", ho hum.

Remember they gave us "Monica", and IMHO if the air-inlet was above and behind the canopy instead of below, maybe it would have had a chance against the F-35.

I have way more faith in Northrup coming up with something that is a game changer, the X-47B is way ahead of it's time...

Maybe the test flight of that is the UFO that's been in the news lately.

If it was important militarily, I assume it would not be revealed at all right now and would be classified as a military secret? So how does it change future air power?

The V-22 (Vertol) can take off vertically like a helicopter or horizontally like an airplane.

Its a solar powered jet. Only problem is that it has to sit on the ramp for three weeks on sunny days to get the piwer for a 10 minute flight. The design won over its less efficient giant twisted rubber band model.

The bright side is it can use Chevy Volt charging stations.....

I used to land vertically all the time in the 1960s and 1970s.

Such hype usually means it’s nothing.

For successful hyping the article has to mention graphene.
