Porn star August Ames was found dead of an apparent suicide Wednesday, one day after the adult actress was apparently bullied by social justice warriors on social media for explaining she would not perform in scenes alongside male actors who also perform in gay porn, due to health concerns.
Ames, whose real name is Mercedes Grabowski, “died of asphyxia due to hanging” in what has been ruled as a suicide, according to Ventura County, California officials. She was 23 years old.
Grabowski was bullied on Twitter after she announced her refusal to do porn scenes with gay porn actors, citing what she claimed was a higher likelihood of contracting HIV.
Users quickly called Grabowski, who was bisexual, “homophobic” for her remarks, prompting the actress to further explain.
“NOT homophobic. Most girls don’t shoot with guys who have shot gay porn, for safety,” Grabowski proclaimed. “That’s just how it is with me. I’m not putting my body at risk, i don’t know what they do in their private lives.”

I think suicide is almost always primarily about what is going on inside someone’s head than it is about external factors. Kidnapped by Boco Haram might rise to the level of an external factor driving you over the edge. Not an attack on social media.

Read that the “family abuser” was her paternal grandfather and later a neighbor who offered her cocaine for sex at 15. Dad didn’t believe her and put her in a teen home at 12. Split her family. Plus her mom had mental disorder. Multiple personalities which was passed onto her.
Poor kid never had a chance of a “normal” life.
Happy people don’t had porn as a first choice as a career option.
Some Freepers think somebody killed her instead of it being a suicide.
Either they haven’t read about her or have mental problems themselves who should get their paranoia checked by professionals.

More worried about dying the horrible death from HIV and all the related complexes and conditions. Then killing herself when nobody seemed to care one whit.

A fair number of people in the trades that charge people for sex develop (or start out with) difficulty engaging in sex as the initiating party.
People who hire prostitutes or buy pornography are far more likely to become predators.
I will also point out that Tamar was more righteous than Judah.
Her choice of suicide may have been a statement in it’s self.
Just guessing but she was probably anti gun so she didn’t have one, overdose was out as she had a substance abuse history but was clean at the time and she didn’t want her friend or fans think it was accidental death like so many other porn starlets.
No, I believe her hanging was the dramatic(theatrical?) final “F’ You to her LGBYQRST detractors and family who didn’t believe her sex abuse allegations.

Yeah, I was afraid of something like that, family involvement.
Kids don’t develop hyper-sexual personalities unless they’ve been taught to.
When you see a young kid goofing around, it’s because some adult most likely taught them to.
If that were true, then they wouldn’t want to have sex with females anymore, and this lady who killed herself wouldn’t have to worry about performing with them in straight movies.

I was lucky as a kid. I actually chose to avoid certain situations, where neighborhood kids were “exploring”, if you catch my drift.
I wasn’t ready for that sort of thing, and I knew it.
Other kids got involved. I took a pass.
I would term myself a late bloomer, but it was better that way IMO.
At the time, I wasn’t always happy about it, but in time it became clear as I progressed through my adult life.
