Spacey was always creepy. Not surprised about the allegations.

Maybe he gets Arkancized in the show.

Without Spacey there is no H of C.

They may as well pack it up.

Frank Underwood had just been replaced as President by Claire Underwood anyway.

Will there be an offstage plane crash?

A ridiculous show that has carried on beyond reason. The much shorter original British version was much better.

How about Alex Baldwin?
He can teach viewers how to beat their wives. (Kim Basinger)

That would be a great scene if all the families of his victims tore him limb by limb in an alley.

(Oh, that would be Bill Clinton—I get so confused....) :-)

In the British version Elizabeth Urquhart has Francis assassinated. Maybe they’ll do the same to Spacey’s character?

Jumped the shark when wifey became VP.

Jumped the whale when wifey became Prez.

The whole theme became too outlandish.

‘House of Cards’ Sixth and Final Season Shooting to Resume in Early 2018, Without Kevin Spacey

Why? Spacey is the perfect example of a real life DemoRat amoral, criminal, pervert politician.

House of Cards just won't have that "Documentary" feel anymore.

I still haven’t gotten around to season 5, 4 was just so damn mediocre. 1 and 2 are great, 3’s OK, 4 just underwhelmed in all phases.

What struck me in the series is the strained relationship between both Underwoods in the script, and I wonder if that was reflected in similar tensions in real life too. The character of Claire has just screwed over her husband, after he had done the same to her for years. She is now in control on the show. I wonder how much Robin Wright had to struggle for dominance on the set, and now that seems to have been accomplished and Spacey is out on his a$$. I imagine her being quite ticked off as Spacey’s scandals could have destroyed her future in the show.

I remember being surprised by a bit of a gay slant in the last season. Not at all surprised now. I am glad to hear there is one more season. I was wondering what would happen to Claire Underwood’s character.

On another tangent, how often are elections influenced by TV shows and their characters? After a successful black president was played by Dennnis Haysbert on 24, we got Obama. (I would have preferred Haysbert to Obama.) It seems that Madam Secretary and perhaps House of Cards were partly inspired by Madam Clinton. I could never watch West Wing, but maybe that played a part as well.
