Two possibilities arise from the guilty plea of former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
Flynns plea marks the beginning of the end of the Trump administration. Flynns plea marks the end of the desperate hope that America will be delivered from the Trump presidency by impeachment and removal from office on the grounds that his campaign colluded with Russia to win him the 2016 election. There are other ancillary events one can easily imagine. For example, Trump could fire independent counsel Robert Mueller and/or pardon Flynn and others. But those moves would eventually make the end of his administration far more likely, and so should be considered as part of Possibility #1.
Hes done for or the impeachment dream is dead. Thats it.
If there was conspiratorial cooperation between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin, Flynn was at the center of it. That much is clear. And Mueller has Flynn on the hook. Analysts speculate that Flynn was allowed to plead down to a relatively minor charge in exchange for a promise of full cooperation. Should Mueller believe Flynn is failing to cooperate, he could make Flynns future unendurable (in part by going after Flynns son).
Its therefore fair to assume Flynn will come clean about what he knows.
And thats why this will lead either to Trump going down in flames or the impeachment-now movement getting its heart broken.
For my friends in the impeachment camp, Id recommend preparing for heartbreak (and not just because you should never expect things to go the way you want; trust me, I wanted Rubio).

A minute apart?
Child’s play. Getting the same time stamp is the goal...
The real crime here is the MSM not telling the American public this. This is for shock value when indictments begin rolling out because by now the media does know something is going down. They want rioting in the streets as a last ditch option.
Trumps still got us....his base, his power. As long as we stick with him, hes not going anywhere.

The more they try to hurt Trump the more I will stand behind him.
How about Secretary of State Hillary blessing the give-away to the Russians of 20% of US uranium in return for Billy Jeff getting $500k for a 15-minute speech in Moscow and the Clinton Foundation getting $145m in donations from Russian interests?
i swear to god...if they try to remove him...duly elected, on a phony witch hunt/ elitist attacks, starting from the night he won....it’ll get ugly...just a feeling.
i dont know about this lawyer that Trumps got...all these people are being called in...even Hope Hicks ...i heard Trump is paying all their legal bills, but still....listen to what Alan Dershowitz says....makes alot of sense..
Flynn plead guilty to a PROCESS crime. That's it. That process crime is he "lied" to the FBI for failing to disclose he was speaking to Russian counter-parts after the election, allegedly at the behest of a higher-up in the President Elect Trump Transition Team.
There was NOTHING ILLEGAL with setting up or even having conversations with Russian Counterparts after the election, period. It's commonplace, and it's part of the transition process to guarantee a smooth transition from an outgoing Administration to the incoming Administration. It's part of our peaceful transfer of power.
IN FACT, Obama did the EXACT SAME THING when he rushed out after the 2012 elections and setup the very first "Office of the President Elect" which included usage of the Presidential Seal. That caused a HUGE uproar -- am I the only one who remembers that? And now Obama says "we can only have one President at a time!" when he himself usurped then President Bush's Presidential Power at every turn before he himself was sworn into office. But I digress.
Where Flynn broke the law was in denying he was setting up those conversations, participating in them AND had connections that he'd previously failed to disclose.
That's lying to the FBI - a PROCESS crime.
Now, if Robert Mueller had anything more serious on Flynn than a process crime, he'd use that FIRST to apply the maximum pressure for Flynn's cooperation in any investigation. Prosecutors DO NOT press for cooperation by applying pressure with the least crime first. They apply the maximum pressure they can with the maximum charge they can.
The fact that Robert Mueller is charging Flynn with lying to the FBI, a "process" crime tells us that as of right now, Mueller has a big nothing burger on President Trump.
Color me not worried at all.
As if she won publishers clearing house.
It’s actually not a bad analysis of the situation - once you get post the initial bloviation...
This article is written for the stupid amongst us. AKA democrats and Never Trumpers.
“Flynns plea marks the end of the desperate hope that America will be delivered from the Trump presidency by impeachment and removal from office on the grounds that his campaign colluded with Russia to win him the 2016 election.”
Still, still, these benighted fools never, ever venture to explain just how the Russians gained the ability to manipulate an American election. Or, in other word, do what Hillary and the democrats could not do with hundreds of millions of dollars spent and with about a century of experience stealing elections.
Flynn has nothing to do with Trump.
Actually, the article wasn’t that bad. It’s a simple prognostication. Either Flynn cooperating is bad for Trump or it is good.
Broken clock theory applies.
The vile and loathsome dirtbag podhoretz is a never trumper whore who deserves to be at the end of a rope hanging on a lamppost. This scumbag epitomizes the left wing neo con filth like kristol, wilson, et al.
