After three years, 30 percent of the people who used mouthwash twice or more a day progressed to pre-diabetes or diabetes, compared to 20 percent of those who used the rinses less frequently. Ultimately, the very frequent mouthwash users had a 55 percent higher risk of developing one of the conditions than the less frequent users, the study notes. The impact stayed the same when the researchers controlled for age, sex, smoking, physical activity, alcohol consumption and other factors.

True....................
According to the companys literature, they had Missouri Analytical Laboratory conduct an ADA standard RDA test and their powder is safe for enamel. Low abrasion and high pH so it doesnt harm enamel.
Ill have to do some more digging, but suspect its the lack of glycerin that is making my teeth feel so clean, not the charcoal in the paste.
I recommend to anyone else who cant stand the flavor of mouthwash like Lysteribe to try some of the Natural Dentist brand mouthwashes. No weird ingredients and thy have some really nice flavors like Zesty Orange.
I agree. Low abrasion is still abrasion, and once enamel is gone, it’s gone forever.
I still use it to wash the bathroom floor. I then wring out the mop to recapture the Listerine and use as a mouthwash.
I’ve never seen a sick potato chip.
I guess you haven’t heard what Charcoal does to you.....
“your mouth is filled back up with replacements for the critters you killed...”
Mouth fills up with critters the mouthwash didn’t kill. The good guys are killed off and the bad guys take over.
Certain bacteria groups that process dietary nitrates into nitric oxide that relaxes blood vessels are killed off by mouthwash, and your blood pressure goes up.
Other bacteria process gluten in the mouth. Kill these off with a strong mouthwash and you can get a leaky gut with gluten intolerance.
“Well, folks are not supposed to swallow it!”
Doesn’t matter. Kill off the protective bacteria at the beginning of the digestive tube and wreak havoc all the way down.
Thanks for filling that out.
This is probably due to people who eat more sugar and carbs having worse breath due to a heavier bacteria load.
Im not consuming it.
Bad math. A 100% concentration would require an increase of 30/70 or 42.86%, not a mere 30% rise.

Bad Math is a perfectly valid argument for CO2 arguments, especially if the arguments are marxist in effect...
I use Monkey Brand tooth powder after I brush every other day. Its great. Its cheap enough you can buy one for each member of the family. Its easier that way because you can just dip your toothbrush in it.

That has charcoal as well. Are you worried about it removing all your enamel? I use My Magic Mud paste, the powder a couple times a week. A fellow freeper pointed out that charcoal is too abrasive and will destroy enamel.
Ive used it for many years and never a problem. Its really helped with the plaque and gums. My hygienist looked it up and told me to keep using it. I also rinse with 1 teaspoon bleach in a cup of water every 2-3 days on the advice of my hygienist. My dental health has improved a lot.
Its far cheaper than what weve been using. I may have to try it.
Bleach is incredible. My son has severe eczema and his dermatologist prescribed bleach baths. I was surprised, but am now a believer. It really helps heal his skin.
Wow yeah. That stuff youve been using is expensive. Try the Monkey Brand. A bottle lasts a long time and its super cheap. Youre supposed to use your finger with it but I use a soft bristle brush. Its just easier.
