Celebs are taking a stand against manspreading the annoying habit men have of obnoxiously spreading their legs too far apart while sitting, especially on a public bus or train by uncrossing their legs.
Womanspreading is the new female power stance taking over Instagram where ladies crouch or sit down in an open leg position and casually vogue for the camera.
Women are realizing they dont have to conform to any so called appropriate ladylike way to sit, pop culture expert Valerie Greenberg tells Moneyish. Its a movement that says were equally powerful.

Bill Clinton had about as wide a seated stance as you could have on his Esquire cover, with a low camera angle, as if to say kiss/suck it.
Libs were not offended.
It will become the Camel Show.
Depending on who the woman is, what she is wearing or, rather, not wearing, I’m perfectly fine with “womanspreading”.
Whatta bout Breast Projecting?
Wow, bad hammertoe there.
Any one notice they both crossed their legs the wrong way.
The facing leg should be down, the opposite crosses
Disgusted, my wife blurted out time “how unladylike, you always protect the p*ssy”
Autumn’s Eve from SNL
talk about spreading...
squid beak - that’s all I see
Woman spreading is good! However, in this insane politically correct climate if I take note of such I am an instant misogynist.
Rosie O Donald woman spreading is bad = blinded for life!
I may take a little heat for this post!
Actually Ainsley, Abby and the other women typically cross their well-exposed legs.
Having fallen from 'grace' as it were, the Now Gang are attempting to make a comeback; another few years of bad manners and ridiculous posturing from women who are unhappy in their own skins.
Men are wired as hunters and gatherers so if women want to continue to dress in a provocative manner and sit in a male manner they are a far cry from being equally powerful...they are being rude to a fault and inviting withering criticism, gaining them nothing but pity.
If a woman is completely naked in front of me, I treat her as if she is fully clothed, unless she has made it clear she wants a relationship with me that includes being my lover.
I once did a photo shoot with a woman who had to be fully disrobed in the shoot. My job was to place an ultrasound probe on her enlarged abdomen.
At no time did I check out anything other than the small area where I was going to place the probe, and what angle I knew the photographer would find most pleasing, to get the job done quickly.
I remember nothing about her that I couldn’t see when she had her robe on. Not once did I focus on her breasts or other private areas.
The idea that women set themselves up for abuse, is a foreign one to me.
That being said, I have tried to warn the women in my life to be careful, because I don’t believe there as many men out there as there should be, that share my ethic in this matter.
Agreed 100%. Somewhat curious about that aircraft. I have never seen a window on a pressurized aircraft that large. Do you know what it was?
There was actually an episode of the Reba show that discussed the difference between getting mooned by high school boys and getting “mooned” by high school girls.
There is a reason I put the second “mooned” in quotes. If you get my drift.
For those in Rio Linda, men are mooning. Women are presenting. Look it up. :)
