Donald Trumps former chief strategist Steve Bannon is keeping the door open to ditching Roy Moore as the sexual-assault allegations against the Alabama Republican Senate candidate continue to pile up.

just read the whole article. seems woefully short on sources and pretty long on speculation.

Well this supposedly occurred in the late 1970s. And according to wikipedia: "Child safety locks are built into the rear doors of most cars to prevent rear seat passengers from opening the doors both during transit and while the vehicle is stationary; vehicles have been built with this feature since the early 1980s."
The Reality is simple, these charges are sticking to Moore like white on rice and unless he has proof the “allegations” are 100% false he is becoming toxic.
I don’t like it, but I look outside the FR Bubble and see the irrational meme winning over Public perception. The constant Drum beat will reach a crescendo long before the December Election.
We can all Post here and convince ourselves that he missed the Iceberg, but the water is rushing in.
The only way for this to end without a Democrat winning the Alabama Senate Seat is for the AL Governor to call for another Special Election once the RNC invalidates Moore’s Republican Party affiliation, which is looking like an increasing possibility.
We still have a little less than a Month until the General Election. This issue will not go away, it will only turn into a Harvey Weinstein style pile on (on steroids), whether we think that is fair or not.
Well, life isn’t fair and there we are. To paraphrase Kermit the Frog, ‘it isn’t easy being a Conservative’.
If we haven’t yet learned that Perception is Reality in today’s DNC Media driven world we haven’t been paying attention.
Just my $.02, you’re mileage may vary. Carry on...
Maybe Moore and Sessions could trade places 😂
Some models back then could have had a child-lock block on unlocking the door.
Not on the front passenger door. Child locks are on the back doors only.
It’s also an issue of escaping a car in case of dire threat, fire, accident, and the like...
That is an interesting slant - given Mc Lames corroboration on the Dirty Dossier ... hmmm
I agree.
>>>Child safety locks are built into the rear doors of most cars to prevent rear seat passengers from opening the doors both during transit and while the vehicle is stationary<<<
As I understand it, they were in the front seat. Anyone know what kind of Car Moore had back then? Was it brand new?
Did the Woman describe the Car?
Doesn’t matter, the Dam has already broken, but I am curious.
It is not Moore turning it over, it is the establishment Republicans. They are clearly behind this, and people are already groveling, begging them to let us give them the candidate they want. Go ahead, grovel, you will never have a small government Republican party.
Sources? Not exactly a fact.
Fake News!
I don’t recall that incident very well.
McConnell is shameful, and acts as if he answers to no one.
When they get to that point, it’s time to hand in your membership card.
I totally agree with you. This supposedly happened 40 frickin years ago..... every single one of us could be accused of telling a dirty joke at work, or smiling at someone that they took the wrong way - if we can go back 40 years and drag up something then no one is safe. It is ridiculous.
Nothingburger article with no substantial resources/sources, from the Daily Beast.
Daily Beast????
Good point about the charges, and how the well had been primed so that anyone having charges (of this kind) leveled against them (right now) would be very unlikely to wither the storm.
Moore seems to be doing it though.
Deosn’t surprise me much.
Who is the best rino to take over from McConnell?
Majority of the senate is rino in my opinion.
You may be right. There were some models back then that had interesting percs. I just didn’t want to rule out anything.
One thing should be said here. I think it’s the window settings, and not the door locks in the back.
I don’t think you ever set it up so you can’t exit from within the car. Perhaps I’m not thinking clearly here though.
