The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers have a historic rivalry.
But after several weeks of NFL National Anthem protests even Soldier Field in Chicago was half empty today.

This is great, Trump Wins Again....
Still too many.
When they go back to working for minimum wage, then they can bend the kneel and complain, otherwise they are all hypocrites. I won’t watch their games.
>>>This Aint Good Folks!<<<
Actually, it is good . . . very, very good!
Ain’t good????
Looks great to me.
Agreed. The NFL is such a habit I knew the "boycott" today would be a bust.
The majority of NFL fans are not political and really couldn't care less if the players kneel during the national anthem. They just want their entertainment
Bread and circuses.
No. It’s really good.
As with many here, I fail to see the downside.
This is not Vince Lombardi’s football game.
This is a hijacked, highdollar industry designed to use sports fans as political tools.
It’s called Soldier Field for a reason.
Something most NFL Miscreants would never know because they are a bunch of uneducated slugs.
You can buy tickets on Ticketmaster for half what they were asking last year.
Fans are dumping their tickets at a deep discount. Use to be you could by a few season tickets and make bang off them. Not anymore.
Wait till next season. Season tickets sale will swoon.....
Its not politics.
The flag and the anthem stand for the foundation of this country and all the amendments up until now. The flag does not condone bigotry nor the slavery of our past which was resolved legally after the war.
People who serve under the flag who act like jerks are just people - acting like jerks. They dont change the ideals for which the flag stands
The flag is not political. Roger Godell is a complete and utter idiot for not pronouncing that in August 2016 when an idiot player influenced by his anti American foreign -raised girlfriend started this
Theyre all idiots as are all the people in the stands who dont walk out at this disrespect and do their job defending the country and quit making the military do all the work
Just a huge bunch of idiots
I am SO PROUD of not watching any of it...not even the team with a local connection who is one of the good guys....
lots of other things to do this time of year..
I agree that this is a good thing but, there are tons of people, even here on FR, that still think NFL football is more important than their country’s anthem and flag. I believe that if you are still watching NFL football at this point, you agree with them.
Yep .... Good point Big Bob !
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldier_Field
“”Soldier Field was designed in 1919 and opened on October 9, 1924, as Municipal Grant Park Stadium. The name was changed to Soldier Field on November 11, 1925, as a memorial to U.S. soldiers who had died in combat. Its formal dedication as Soldier Field was on Saturday, November 27, 1926,[14] during the 29th annual playing of the ArmyNavy Game.[15] Its design is in the Neoclassical style, with Doric columns rising above the East and West entrances.[16] The stadium cost $13 million to construct ($182 million in 2015 dollars), a very large sum for a sporting venue at that time “””
Only one game played there in 1926 between Army and Navy ..... it was a tie !

Stay Safe an F the NFL !
Wonder if any of these morons noticed nobody is watching.
If You Still Watch...
Get a Clue!
Here is the really devastating thing for the NFL:
A lot of those people you see in the stands today are there because a season ticket holder gave them the ticket because they didn’t want to patronize the traitors, and another bunch bought their tickets second-hand online for less than $10 because it is the first time they have ever been able to afford a football game.
Next season, a lot of those season tickets holders are simply not going to pony up, and non-season ticket sales will require a severe drop in price to get closer to current market pricing and demand.
With fewer people attending, and fewer people watching, the networks are going to lose revenue on their advertising pricing, and they are going to demand a huge price drop in NFL rights the next time the contracts come up. The networks will also spend less money promoting and covering it, starting a downward death spiral.
Several years from now, the NFL will write their own “What Happened?” book when owners start refusing to sign huge player contracts, players revolt even more, and the league turns into the big gridiron version of Arena Football.
Hope youre well.
Check six.

Yep, a good gauge is to check prices for tickets on StubHub, that will tell the tale.
