As with many here, I fail to see the downside.

This is not Vince Lombardi’s football game.

This is a hijacked, highdollar industry designed to use sports fans as political tools.

Also, the days of the NY Sack Exchange, Big Blue, the Steel Curtain are long ago and far away. This isn't Pete Rozelle's NFL anymore either. At least the bickering between him and Joe Namath was entertaining.

Agree with your premise...but it is an entertainment industry and uses fans to garner money. It will spout any political view to keep the dollars rolling in. I would not be surprised if they are now targeting the x gens..slackers ..and millenials...and letting the boomers say bye bye...who..knows..maybe coaches are in fantasy leagues cause they know the game plans and who will run and catch balls..net results...fans get fat on chips and beer..players get severely banged up..and owners/investors keep rollin in the dough..cannot totally blame um...fans who are passionate about a kids game drive this bus...all in all..football not that important to life...time to let go...
