Thank you MNDude! I agree and am frustrated with the cynicism posted by many FReepers. The uranium one treason is different. The Clintons overreached this time. As you point out, President Trump has almost certainly known all about this and was waiting for the correct time to strike.
Everything Trump does is for a reason. Note today he is tweeting about the “great unity” within the Republican party. Think about why.

I think the “calm before the storm” appearance with the military was about NK.
Trump was signaling NK that NK was about to cross lines that would result in our military taking action. Notice, NK has been pretty quiet since then.
I think Trump has known about Uranium One since before the inauguration. I for one, posted to Trump’s suggestion site that they should look into Podesta’s Russian stock option holdings and bribery regarding the Uranium. And take back the mine if bribery could be proved.
Hannity said that he knew about this for over a year.
It would make sense that President Trump would know for that long as well.
It is likely that all this “Russia Collusion” stuff was seen as a gift from God to allow the Trump administration to consolidate power and eliminate RINOs, while driving the final nails into the coffin of establishment media credibility.

Trump made references before he was elected that may have been about this. I think it’s possible he has known for years.
I wonder if there is concern about domestic unrest. If they move on Hillary, Bill, or Obama, some libs will lose their minds. Some, however, may be willing to sacrifice the Clintons to protect Obama. The next year will be fascinating for sure.

I believe that Trump intended from the beginning of his presidency to bring down Hillary but like anything timing is everything. he first had to let Hillary and her co-conspirators buy there rope build the scaffolding then invite all her closest supporters to her very own public hanging... I really believe that the corruption was so therally entrenched that he had to wait while the money ran out that controlled Quite a few supporters ran out. also had to let her alienate those who did not care as long as she was a winner.
