Eleven million American men are infected with oral human papillomavirus (HPV), which can lead to cancers of the head, neck and throat, a new study reports.
That equates to 1 in 9 U.S. males aged 18 to 69. And infection is most likely for those who have had multiple oral sexual partners, are gay or bisexual, or who also have genital HPV infection, a team of U.S. researchers found.

Now that’s funny.
Very good. Supposedly 32 out of the greater than 100 hpv variants are associated with cancer...lets see how long it takes for everybody to be infected...ready...set...go.
From toilet seats.
I see what you did there.
How do they come up with these numbers? There’s no way every man in the country’s been tested for this.
You are WHO you eat.
Eating down at the Y can be hazardous.
... and anyone else they’ve ever eaten. It’s the gift that keeps on giving and the spread is logarithmic in a broadly promiscuous group or society. The math is startling as far as any potential future outbreak of communicable disease initially spread via sexual means.

Seriously?
“It’s also not clear why men have more oral HPV than women”
Because it is from performing oral sex on women.
But that answer didn’t fit the agenda of the study.
Aged 18 to 69. Still the numbers seem low unless they are not counting the illegal aliens.
My wife and I have an understanding. I don't date other women and she doesn't shoot me and bury my carcass in our pasture.
In the immortal words of Dick Armey, when asked during the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal what he would do if he were in Bill Clinton's place, "If I were in the President's place, I would not get a chance to resign. I would be lying in a pool of my own blood hearing Mrs. Armey, standing over me, saying, 'How do I reload this damn thing?'"
My hubby said something similar when AIDs first started showing itself. I think he said that he was so happy that he was married.
Over 50% last I read. Maybe even higher.
What a culture we turned out to be!
>>>Alternate headline: 90% are not. Moral purity works.<<<
Are you saying the other 90% are not fornicators or adulterers?
In the early days, AIDS was terrifying (I was a kid at the time). People feared getting it from mosquitoes and such; the transfusion threat was very real. Nowadays it is still a dangerous illness but high-risk groups are starting to treat it as much less dangerous.
Understandable; if I was BJ Clinton I’d be lying in my own blood while my wife wondered where I kept the pistol I used to end my shame...
Well, we could use the # 2 courting ritual - post a picture of someone else (or ourselves 20 years ago)...
