Jennifer Lawrence revealed in a speech on Monday night that she was forced to participate in a “degrading and humiliating” lineup while naked and was told to lose weight when she was starting off her acting career.
Lawrence, who was being honored at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event in Los Angeles, stood at the lectern and detailed her experience of being mistreated in the entertainment industry.
“When I was much younger and starting out, I was told by producers of a film to lose 15 pounds in two weeks,” the 27-year-old actress said to a crowd that included Kristen Stewart, Margot Robbie and Ashley Greene.
“One girl before me had already been fired for not losing the weight fast enough,” she added. “During this time a female producer had me do a nude lineup with about five women who were much, much, thinner than me. We all stood side by side with only tape on covering our privates.”
Lawrence called it a “degrading and humiliating” experience and said the producer then told her she should “use the naked photos” of herself as “inspiration” for her diet.
When she did try to stand up for herself, another producer said she was “perfectly f—kable," Lawrence said.

IMO, Hollywood is filled to the brim with the weakest among us. Hollywood is filled with weak people who make careers out of submitting and following the pack. It is the very reason that they allowed themselves to be put in a position of exploitation. And then when the coast is clear and everyone is doing it, they all come forward with their story about how, they too!, suffered such indignations. Not a peep from them before, and while the gravy train was running, but now it's chic to say you were... whatever.
Remember when there was a time where a racy picture was scandalous? Now Hollywood follows the well-worn slut path of "losing control" of some pirated nude pictures, or sex tapes. And of course suddenly everyone just happens to have a wardrobe malfunction.
Hollywood is made up of very weak people who choose the easy path of surrendering to all their base instincts because that is so much easier. They assiduously follow the safe path made by their publicists and others and think themselves so avant garde.
And it's always been like this in Hollywood. During the 20s and 30s everyone in Hollywood smoked cigarettes. Virtually no movie was ever made without every Hollywood type smoking. Now of course that is out so no one, or few, in Hollywood smoke. Similarly, once everyone started getting tattoos, now almost everyone in Hollywood has some "edgy" tattoo.
Okay, maybe I'm confused but how does having a female producer have her stand in a nude line-up end up being "smiling when a man makes me uncomfortable"?
Sounds like something that she needs to take up with the Sisterhood of Female Producers, doesn't it?

I’d bet J-LAW did more than pose for pics. Interesting that they were all assaulted or humiliated and all became successful but not one of them put out.
It will be hilarious if Weinstein gets enough and starts answering everyone of them with “I did her. Then I gave her the role. IF she was any good.”
It kind of explains prominent liberal women’s hatred of men.
I’d hate men if I was around liberal predators like this, too.

How many big time producers and directors are calling big time actors and actresses saying “You best remember I’ve still got a lot of power. And if I don’t make that movie we got in the pipeline, you don’t work either.”
People who go to Hollywood are almost all morally depraved and mostly ignorant. They will do anything to become stars and make millions of dollars.
Remember that it used to be actors were regarded as some of the lowest people in society and even prostitutes were held in higher esteem. The actors today are basically the same as then but events have occurred to get too many people to believe that actors are now on a higher plane than what they really are.
Nothing wrong with that. SkinNY women tend to veer towards crazy.
Yet she continued on in such a degrading business. There were, I am sure, plenty of other jobs she could have done. And, like these other actresses, she does not appear to be naming names. (I could be wrong; I admit that did not go to the link.)
Take off the 50 lbs of makeup and see what she looks like.
