Jennifer Lawrence revealed in a speech on Monday night that she was forced to participate in a “degrading and humiliating” lineup while naked and was told to lose weight when she was starting off her acting career.
Lawrence, who was being honored at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event in Los Angeles, stood at the lectern and detailed her experience of being mistreated in the entertainment industry.
“When I was much younger and starting out, I was told by producers of a film to lose 15 pounds in two weeks,” the 27-year-old actress said to a crowd that included Kristen Stewart, Margot Robbie and Ashley Greene.
“One girl before me had already been fired for not losing the weight fast enough,” she added. “During this time a female producer had me do a nude lineup with about five women who were much, much, thinner than me. We all stood side by side with only tape on covering our privates.”
Lawrence called it a “degrading and humiliating” experience and said the producer then told her she should “use the naked photos” of herself as “inspiration” for her diet.
When she did try to stand up for herself, another producer said she was “perfectly f—kable," Lawrence said.

A PRIME factor that actresses get hired for is their physical appearance. I'm going to guess that this incident was related to her trying out for the part of Mystique in the X-Men films, in which she had to appear NAKED except for body paint.
YES, being even slightly pudgy was not going to work out.
These people don’t realize that this continuing landslide of revelations about the depravity of Hollywood is not making the American public more sympathetic to them, it is making us less sympathetic to them.
They constantly degrade our values, our lifestyles, our religion... should we trade in our way of life for the disgusting moral septic tank in which they have voluntarily sunk themselves?
She is definitely overrated.
At one point in the interview, Lawrence said this:
“I’m still learning that I don’t have to smile when a man makes me uncomfortable,” she added. “Every human being should have the power to be treated with respect because they’re human.”
Her takeaway from all this is that she doesn’t always have to smile? It’s very easy for her to say, “F* Donald Trump”, but someone tries to rape her she will in the future not smile?
She’s an idiot.

I look back at my young self and now way would I go through something like this for any job. Maybe its a Hollywood thing? If this was the first thing you had to do wouldn’t it be a good time to find another profession>
There’s an abundance of reasons to hate Hollywood and Jennifer Lawrence is one of them.
Jennifer should remember that everything she ever did in Hollywood, including that photo shoot, still exists in someone’s collection.

I haven’t seen those. Maybe they got her the Oscar, or at least the nomination. She has been in a lot Weistein produced movies, it’s pretty clear that she ‘put out’.

Did she read the script in advance. Was there a bedroom, bathroom or sex scene on the washing machine? She dresses in revealing clothes on the red carpet. Don’t tell me, she could not refuse to wear those barely-there designer gowns.
