HALE YEAH !!!!!Being that I am a Southern boy from Gatorland (and other points all along our fine Gulf coast), I can say with some degree of expertise that the proper way to say it is:
"Aw HEYelllll Yeah!"

We former Bostonians have two syllabled many words that others use one.
For instance, beer is bee ah, so my hale is really hay ell (or if you prefer, heyell)
Ice from the sky is hay ill
But in deference to your creds .... Heyell Yeah !
S'cuse me ... I gutt'a go pahk my cah.

“We former Bostonians have two syllabled many words that others use one.”
How about three syllables where others use one? At our first church service in Tennessee, the topic of the sermon was: “SEE-in-uh in the CAY-um-pah”, or so the pastor said. Great preachers here in the south; love it here!

This thread appears to be for the guys, but it’s a subject near and dear to my old heart. I was born a Redneck in the boonies of Tenn. I picked cotton before I was old enough to go to school. I know the South and I know her people. I know her men and her GRITS. I have lived in Tenn, Ala, GA, Miss, FL, and VA, and a few more further north. I know Bluegrass and Blues, and the old Gospel hymns. The South is the best part of America because the South has “heart”. We sing our love, our heartaches and our religion, and it keeps us connected to each other. “Sweet Home Alabama”!!! Thank you “Cowboy”. I love you (in a motherly way)

True that. The left just loves to hijack words that fake people out. Liberals are not liberal. Progressives are not progressive and Gay’s are not gay (happy). They are mean little shitts.
A true progressive thinking person is interested in controlled progress. The left’s version of a Progressive is someone with an agenda toward Marxism. A truly liberal-minded person is open-minded; the left’s version of liberal is quite the opposite.

Hell yeah!
But you ain’t a red neck until you dismantle an old sofa in your LR with an electric chainsaw, `cause it was a beech gettin’ it through the door ten years ago.

From this day forward I shall call them totalitarians because that is what they truly aspire to be.
