Completely overcast here tonight in southern Wisconsin. :(
Thing is flipping huge down here in central Texas.
It’s Chinese Moon Festival. I think it was yesterday.
That big, fat moon is gonna shine like a spoon.
But we’re gonna let it.
You won’t regret it.
Cloud cover in S Jersey.
Saw it low in the sky around 6:30 PM in California yesterday, was in awe.
If the evening is cool and crisp, it will just boom in on you as the well known harvest moon. Take a moment to look up tonight (full moon) and marvel at God’s creation.
It was foggy and slightly cloudy last night but I could tell something was bright in the sky. Might get a glimpse tonight.
I’ll see it at 35,000ft heading back to Denver.
Thank you!
The BEST Super Moon Ive ever witnessed was in 1991. I was driving from Madistan up to Eau Claire, WI where I was setting up a Family Assistance Center during Operation Dessert Storm. I took the, scenic route along the Mississippi River.
It was October, end of the day. I had to pull the car over, get out, and just MARVEL at the magnitude of that Moon rising over the Mighty Mississippi; it was as HUGE as the picture you posted to me!
Ill NEVER forget it. Its, In The Vault. This was WELL before we all had phones or digital cameras to capture every meal weve ever eaten or anything cute our pets or kids have done. ;)
This has to impact globull warming.
Huge, and lighting up the lake, here in Central NH.
“oh, shine on, shine on harvest moon up in the sky.
I ain’t had no lovin’ since January, February, June or July
Snowtime ain’t no time to stay outdoors and spoon,
So shine on, shine on harvest moon - for me and my gal !”
cloudy because I am here in SE PA. But we do need the rain.

The guy who rents our fields to plant is taking advantage of it. He and his crew are STILL in our fields, taking in the corn. I'm paying for it with runny nose and watering eyes from the dust they're kicking up but I just stepped out to snap this pic of the moon.
