Initial reports Tom Petty had died at age 66 were inaccurate.
The LAPD tweeted to clarify earlier reports:

It’s likely that she is seeing her father full of tubes and a breathing apparatus non responsive for hours, while the the outside world is reporting he’s dead.
She gets a total pass from me.

Her language doesn’t bother me (I’m on the East Coast). Her need to shoot some idiotic rant in the direction of Rolling Stone does. If Tom Petty isn’t dead, he’s surely dying. Doesn’t she have anything better to do than have a public hissy-fit?
There’s a difference between being dead and almost dead: The dead ones see their artistic works jump in prices.
Big difference between refuting the lies about his death. Anger and sorrow are understandable; the filth is not.

I stand by my post. I went back and looked at her raging
posts, not sure whether they were from Instagram or Facebook or something. They were crass and disgusting.
Sorry, but she shamed her father.
On the bright side, good people can disagree, as we do.
Maybe it’s just me, but if a family member of mine was in a bad situation like this I wouldn’t say I would sh!t down someone’s throat.
